I'm a theatrical technician and designer, as well as a rock climber, hobbyist photographer, and nerd.

Short version: I make theatre and sell supplies to theatre. I also climb frequently; indoors for the time being.

Long version: I currently work at a production supply and rental company in the custom systems area, specifying and selling lighting and sound systems. I am also a founding member of a local theatre/production company focusing on new works. We performed our first devised production back in November. In addition to being one of the creators (devisors), I functioned as a co-scenic and lighting designer, scenic painter, carpenter, electrician, and actor. I'm a little bit all over the place.

Fixing things, photography (or at least the mechanics of it), shining lights on things (lighting design in a nutshell), and problem solving in general.

...And video games. I'm pretty good at those.

I have loads of curly hair. I'm generally quiet and reserved at first, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested or not having a good time. There's a shirt I may finally buy that says "NOT ANTISOCIAL, JUST SHY (you can talk to me!)" which sums it up pretty well.

MUSIC: Billy Joel, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Elbow, Stars, Aerosmith, Daft Punk, The Beatles, God is an Astronaut, Cee Lo Green, orchestral soundtracks, and all kinds of other random things, just get me talking about them.

MOVIES: Apollo 13, Ghostbusters, The Blues Brothers, The Emperor's New Groove, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, This is Spinal Tap, Pulp Fiction, Duck Soup

SHOWS: Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Doctor Who, The West Wing, Scrubs, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Archer

BOOKS: I spend too much time with technical reference books

FOOD: Basically anything edible. Big hits include pot roast, roasted chicken, hearty vegetable soups, quesadillas, apples, chinese food

Music, transportation, a good multi-tool, coffee, sleep, and above all, my friends and family.

An internal soundtrack to my life.

That aside, I spend most of my time on whatever is in front of me, photography projects that someday I'll have time for, how long until the next episode of Archer, and what to do this weekend.

Almost without fail, I am with my roommates and close friends, either at someone's home, at a bar, or at a show of some variety.

My deepest inner nerd and child loves Ghostbusters, to the point where I have constructed a proton pack from the movie for a halloween costume. Yes, it lights up.
