My self-summary
Hi – My Name is actually Chris. I’m a fan of Car talk on PBS, so I was trying to think of something clever when I made up the name. I could have used Bud Tuggly but I don’t think it would go over too well on this site.
What makes me happy? A lot of happiness is intrinsic, but it’s the little things. Morning sunshine, talking with friends, or a sense of accomplishment are the things that really make me feel happy. I live a pretty simple life, and I live below my means. Making plans, and taking care of the details, so that future events will have a good outcome make me happy. For me, fancy stuff has doesn’t have a lot of meaning. A car is transportation, and a trip is enjoying life in a different location. I once lived in Indiana. We live pretty well in San Diego. I should also mention that I tend to misspell word on occasion: Cleaver instead of clever;

I do research in the biological sciences. It’s pretty challenging.
I enjoy staying in shape: Running, going to the gym.
I enjoy the outdoors. I keep thinking that I would like to do some hiking in Yosemite, or Sequoia. It would good to go with others. As it stands right now I would be going by myself.

Scaring away potential dates with too thoughtful, clever paragraphs that go over poorly on a dating profile.
The first things people usually notice about me
Most folks don’t say anything, but a gay man told me once that I have great calves.

I’m a lot thinner that most guys my age. Don't get me wrong - I'm also pretty strong.

In the modern era: A computer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about all sorts of stuff that doesn’t make for a good OKCupid profile. You don’t want to hear about the stock market do you?
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching Netfilx. I don't like the thought of going to a bar then drunk driving home. I could go to the movies, but I feel kind of odd going alone.

To quote Rod Stewart "If you want my body, and you think I'm sexy" (LOL).
