My self-summary
I'm a homebody and while I'm not totally averse to going out, a quiet night in with a good movie/video game/book is preferable. I love The Decemberists, and as far as I'm concerned Sean Connery is the greatest being alive. Movies from Kenneth Brannagh are always a good time, I believe that Neil Gaiman is the best writer working today, and there is no sitution that cannot be improved by a good cup of tea.

I am Opinionated, and Cynical
What I’m doing with my life
Honestly, I'm still not entirely sure. I currently have a full-time job at an energy efficiency company, but what the future holds is anybody's guess.
I’m really good at
Reading, playing videogames, watching entire seasons of tv shows in one sitting. Arguing about relatively unimportant things, trivial pursuit. I will readily admit I'm not much of a cook, but I'm hoping to change that in the future.
The first things people usually notice about me
My rapier wit? Though I'll admit that might be wishful thinking. Likely that I can be very vocal about my likes and dislikes (and other peoples likes and dislikes.) I also have a limp, and I'd wager that's rather noticeable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Movies:

The list as it was was far too long. I enjoy Good action movies (or action movies that are so bad they're good.) Comedies (the darker the better) martial arts films, historical dramas and just about anything sci-fi or fantasy related. I like animated movies more than I probably should, and I'm pretty OK with that.
Favorite T.V. Shows:

Sherlock, Doctor Who (though I'll admot, I'm way behind on the good Doctor's adventures), Farscape, most British comedies, Cowboy Bebop, Archer, Community , Arrow (which is so much better than I had any right to hope it would be), Game of Thrones, Orphan Black.

Favorite Books:
Most Sci-fi or fantasy novels. Historical Fiction. The Count of Monte Cristo, To Kill a Mockingbird. Shantaram, Cold Mountain just finished the Wind-up Bird Chronicle, and Currently reading Moby Dick for the second time. Anything and everything by Neil Gaiman.

Favorite Podcasts:
Hardcore History, Common Sense, Harmontown, Men In Blazers; Unbuttoned, AWO.

Favorite Music:
Folk-rock and folk music in general, Daft Punk, and most forms of instrumental and classical music.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Just what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.

How sad it is that I won't live to see space travel become common place.

Coming to terms with the fact that I will never own a Unicorn.

If there are alternate dimensions where Magic exists and Superheroes are real.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to recover from the work week and save what remains of my sanity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't generally enjoy concerts/live music. I tend to get distracted/bored if watching people stand around and play music is the only thing I have to focus on. The Decemberists are an exception.

The thought of playing videogames, watching movies and discussing books appeals to you or, at the very least, doesn't appall you.
