I am funny, optimistic, and spontaneous.

My Self-Summary

I do my best to make people laugh, both personally and professionally. I performed improv comedy in Oregon for more than 5 years before moving to Korea.

I am an elementary school English teacher. I love Korea, and plan to be here for several years.

I am a pop culture fanatic who loves films, music, plays, and museums.

I have written film history/criticism articles about Jean Cocteau, Salvador Dali and Luis Bunuel, and the cartoon character Astroboy (his original Japanese name is Tetsuon Atomu, and his Korean name is Atom) published in "Filmfax" magazine. I have also had film reviews published in Oregon newspapers, and poetry published in several small poetry journals, including one I used to publish myself ("Sisyphus Poetry Quarterly").

I am easy to talk with. I have a relaxed personality --- except when I'm doing a loud character on stage or belting out songs by the likes of David Bowie, Judas Priest, and Radiohead at noraebang!

What I’m doing with my life

Living it and loving it.

I’m really good at

Listening, finding fun things to do, writing and editing, working with kids, and other things that I wrote about above.
