I am a passionate, witty, crafty fat queer femme. I am pansexual
and find I tend to have a strong preference for other queer people
as friends and lovers. Anti oppressive queers make my life
I love to read, dance, cook, laugh and spend too much time on
I hate racism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, Conservatives and
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a server. I mostly love it, usually like it and really
enjoy the income and freedom it gives me. I'm hoping to do a bunch
more travelling in the near future!
I spend most of my free time trapped in the internet or a good
book, usually with a cup of tea at my side.
I’m really good at
Food! I like to look at it, read about it, shop for it, make it and
eat it. There is nothing that makes me happier than preparing food
for my friends and faimily
Having fun. Loving. I like to cover things in bacon that really
don't need bacon and cover things in caramel sauce that really
don't need caramel sauce. I also plan to put both in a cookie at
some point in the near future.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm fat and loud and my lipstick is probably smudged.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are my life. I enjoy shopping for them and buying them almost
as much as reading them. I have read and loved hundreds but have a
particular fondness for fiction I can escape into, the longer the
better. Some favourites include the Newsflesh trilogy by Mira
Grant, the Thursday Next books by Jasper Fforde, and The Passage by
Justin Cronin. I also read a lot of things about brains. I will
probably reply if you message me about books.
My music tastes are pretty eclectic. I love music I can feel with
my soul. That list includes Ani DiFranco, Angus and Julia, Ray
Lamontagne, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, Michael Franti and Ed
Sheerhan. Late 90's/Early 00's hip hop and R&B forever.
California Love by Tupac might be my favourite song of all time. I
love country unapolagetically. I'm a sucker for an acoustic guitar,
a double bass or a saxaphone everytime.
I love food a lot, but I'm a picky eater in the sense that when I
don't like something I will not eat it no matter what. I learned
how to cook and kept doing it because I realized it was the easiest
way to not have to eat stuff i don't want to. Now however i love it
and I consider it to be the "art" that is closest to my heart. I
feel that I put every bit as much creativity and passion into the
things I create as a painter does into a painting. I read recipe
books for motivation but rarely follow them. I'll read seven for
the same thing to make one dish and still add things none of them
had and take away things they all had. I'm starting to stray off
recipe whilst baking as well which excites me to no end.
Lately I've been watching Community for the first time and am
finding myself starting to get bored with in mid way through season
The six things I could never do without
the internet, summer, tea, crochet hooks, books and poutine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ice cream, coffee, tea, books, food, the internet, my family,
travelling, politics, the universe, feminism, racism, the
patriarchy, gender, sex, my cats, kink, the body, the world,
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at work. Gotta be there when the money is!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up
You should message me if
you enjoy talking about this things that polite people don't talk
about. You enjoy finding the wonderful things that happen in the
evening time whether they are vegan potlucks or house concerts or
free lectures and just going to them. You learn the best things and
meet the best people.
