I am sweet, cheerful, and cute ;).
My Self-Summary
I’m a tri-state girl who has become a Bklyn transplant. I love
Brooklyn and have been a Brooklynite for close to 8 years! My idea
of a perfect day is strapping a pair of skis on and feeling the
rush of the wind go by me as I fly down the mountain. Since I can’t
(or don’t) do that every day, I have a lot of other loves – biking
around Bklyn, hiking or just getting lost, ice skating, pitch and
put… oh, and skydiving… for the adventurous side of me. I’m also
passionate about music, travel, being captivated by a good book,
laughing, enjoying time (and maybe a glass of wine or beer) with my
friends and endless love for my family. My friends would say that
I'm chatty, can have a silly sense of humor at times (which I
typically reveal once I'm more comfortable) and have an optimistic
outlook. At the core, I consider myself to just be a sweet and
caring person.

What I’m doing with my life
Life is meant to be enjoyed and enjoying it with other people makes
it even better. From 9-5 Monday-Friday, I work in marketing for a
national news company. I enjoy my work and take pride in what I do.
BUT work is not my life. Outside of work, I love to spend time with
my friends, travel and take advantage of all the great things in
NY.
I’m really good at
Laughing. Laughing at myself. Bull shitting. Giving career advice
(kinda goes hand-in-hand with being a good BSer). Listening. Going
with the flow. Writing haikus. Day dreaming. Skiing. Knowing the
correct way to use a semi colon. Ping pong. Making french toast.
Pastels (when inspired). Air hockey. Jenga. Powerpoint
presentations. Alliteration. Making to-do lists.
And I feel that on the opposite note, I should disclose some of my
"not so good at" traits...like in any interview, they always ask
what your weaknesses are. The ones that stand out most for me are
my lack of spelling ability and that I'm tone deaf (although that
does not stop me from "singing" along).
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm short. A full 5 feet (and 1/2 inch)! My uncontrollable smile.
Long eye lashes...and you know I like you if I wear mascara since
it's not a daily thing for me ;)

The six things I could never do without
1. My family and friends
2. My cat, Chloe (the most friendly feline ever)
3. My ipod (music makes me happy)
4. My skis (this would also include all associated gear) :-)
5. My morning coffee
6. My down comforter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My plans for the week, my next vacation, my to-do list, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the Winter, ducking out of work early to drive up to VT. On a
nice Spring/Summer/Fall day, meeting friends for drinks after work
and/or dining al fresco. Nothing like sitting outside and enjoying
a good glass of wine or microbrew and getting some sun. And on all
other Friday nights, probably just keeping it local in Bklyn.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Gonna have to give this one some thought before my fingers type
something they shouldn't... plus it wouldn't be private anymore :P
You should message me if
You can laugh at yourself (and at me... I like to crack silly
jokes). You have a good heart. You strive for success and aspire to
reach your goals. You can have an intelligent conversation, but can
also let loose and be silly. You want to find someone to share new
adventures with.
And you can reach the glass on the high shelf for me.
Cockiness is a definite turn off and emotional stability is a must.
