My self-summary
Programmer by day digital artist and electronic musician by night--if curious google "Wintermut3 music" and you will find me--yes the music is grounded in "cyber-punk". Overall I am a multi-faceted person. If you listen to my music--all you hear is all me, there is no "band" every note is mine I don't use canned "loops".

I try to be a fun loving easy going person, I try to be respectful of others, I try to be the best person I can be--I am flawed and human at times. I am an agnostic and love knowledge of and study of the human condition in all its various aspects. I am a hedonist but still respectful of others--the more that can have fun, the better-- it is not about me ;)
What I’m doing with my life
The meaning of life is to live, I try to do that without impacting others as they move through their life.. If do they wish to go along through life with me, then that is good too. In short, I try to be an easy going, optimistic, conscientious, hedonist >:D
I’m really good at
Thinking outside the 80x...

if you think the above is "80" something, then you don't realize I what I am saying, if you read it as: something cube like that you store things in, then _you_ are thinking outside of it as well ;) -- or your a cyberpunk/hacker/etc/ or, if I am really lucky both >:D
The first things people usually notice about me
My mind if they meet me, my mind through my music if they find it online--Wintermut3

( if your curious about what I am talking about, just google "Wintermut3 music" and see what you find)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Ok, these are by no means complete, but a kind of guideline:

Books: "Do androids Dream of Electronic Sheep", "Neuromancer" (well the whole "sprawl" trilogy--hell anything by Gibson, why do you think my Music Artist name is "Wintermut3" ?? ), "Childhood's End", "Game Players of Titan", "Misery", "The Dark Tower" cycle (OK, truth is I am on book 5), The Stand ( I have read both versions, after all when I found out there was an "unabridged" version of one of the longest books I have ever read--at least it was the longest when I read it the first time at age 14--I just had the read it that version too, Lovecraft, just about every Michael Crichton book, "Rossum's Universal Robots (ok this is a play, but it reads like a book :) ) "Hyperion", "Ender's Game", "Lords of the Rings" Cycle, "The Hitchhikers guide to the ...." (if you can't finish that title, you may be lost anyway in what I am writing >:D ), Pretty much any book by Michel Crichton. "Last and First Men", to much SF pulp to list...etc.etc. A bit of a change up here-> "Godel Escher Bach" any non-fiction book on Artificial Intelligence. Any book about or debating History. Any book about or debating reality. Way too many programming and theories of programming books

Music: wow, in the last ten years I have released over 500 songs under the Artist names of Wintermute, Wintermut3, etc... so I have not had a lot of time to listen to a lot of "other" music, but I have again a very eclectic love of music. My current range is--again this is a guideline, this will roughly be in BPM (beats per minute)--Mozart (all pretty much), Bach (same), Beethoven (most again), Shostakovitch (all--wow what a composer), Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Mussorgsky, Wagner (duh), Copland (Arron), Ravel, etc, etc, there are others along this "line" but this is a guideline ;). Blues, Jazz (most, especially Miles Davis), Jerry Lee Lewis, Cash, Moody Blues (of course Robert Johson), Beatles, Hendrix (again Duh), Doors, Yes, Genesis (early more than late), Kinks, Who, Bowie, Joplin (Scott and Janis), Stones (most), Zeppelin, Foghat, ZZ Top, SRV, Kansas, Boston, Rush, Motorhead, Funkadelic, PFunk and all the variations ( if it is George Clinton, Eddie Hazel, or Colleans (Bootsy) I am all over it ), along that line, James Brown, early Halen, Iron Maiden, Dio, Marillion, Sex Pistols, Clash, Roxy, Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, Peter Gabriel, The Killers, Gary Numan, Cars, Motels, Tears for Fears, U2, Icicle works, XTC, Depeche Mode, King, Ant, Joy Div, Bauhaus, Cure, Furs, Black Flag, Pumpkins, Flaming Lips (et al), The KLF, The Beasties, pretty much all early rap and hip hop (Ice, Dre, Pub Enemy, Naughty by Nature, NWA, the Wu Tang, etc, etc), Rage against the Machine, Ministry, Primus, The Shamen, just about all 90's club and underground electronica, especially Jungle, etc, Crystal Method, Trance (pretty much all of it), EDM, Dead Mau5, Muse, Juno Reactor, 808 state, Thievery Corp, etc, etc

Movies: "Blade Runner", "The Fountain", "The Duelist" (ok All of Ridly Scott,) "Searching for Bobby Fisher" "Good, Bad and the Ugly", "Being There", "Vanishing Point", All Akira Kurosawa, 2001..., 2010..., "Kingdom of Heaven", More B&W's than I care to type, "The Natural", "The Hudsucker Proxy", "Cool hand Luke", "Sucker Punch", I sure I will think of others--but you get the idea.
You should message me if
You like having your mind blown

or if this song makes sense or strikes your heart...:

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details
Someone who'll stand by my side
And give me support
And in return
She'll get my support
She will listen to me
When I want to speak
About the world we live in
And life in general
Though my views may be wrong
They may even be perverted
She'll hear me out
And won't easily be converted
To my way of thinking
In fact she'll often disagree
But at the end of it all
She will understand me

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought
With every breath
Someone who'll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I don't want to be tied
To anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to steer clear of
Those things
But when I'm asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I'll get away with it
And in a place like this
I'll get away with it
