My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, about me huh.... I a generally fun guy, with a sometimes strange and usually sarcastic sense of humor. I also can (and usually will) infuse almost any comment with sexual innuendo.... I like going out to shows (local bands and some larger ones too), hanging out around the beach and the pier, spending time with my friends, and going out and trying different types of food. I try and eat sushi at least 2 times a week. I like the idea of traveling; I just need to save some money so I can go to a few places (New York, Australia, and Europe are on my wish list). I love taking road trips over a weekend, especially up and down the California coastline. I am currently single and in "dating" mode. I'm mostly an open book, so if there's more you want to know about me, ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I think I am finally learning to ballance work and play. I'm employeed with a great job (good pay and I really enjoy what I do and who I work with), and while that does take up a lot of time, I am also managing to not burn out.

I have gone to a good number of shows already this year, and I plan on going to more. It's nice to be able to hang out with my friends too, you know, more than once every six months.

All in all, I think I am decently balanced at the moment, which is both new and good.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Things I am reall good at:

Making most any comment in sexual inuendo. Some people don't appreciate this as much as I do.

Sleeping in, sometimes too good.

My job. I'm damn good at what I do, no question about it.

Singing loudly and against all better judgement to stop (I'm not saying the actual singing is any good, just the volume....).

I hate this question, how should I know?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music:

I love music, almost any type. Not much for Country or Gospel though. Mostly I stick to Alternative, Rock, Punk, electronic (techno, trance, acid, etc.). Some of my favorite bands/artists (that you might/probably have heard of): Radiohead, The Living End, Bad Religion, Eve 6, She Wants Revenge, Garbage, Orgy, Third Eye Blind, Sugarcult, Stroke 9, Everclear, Panic! at the Disco, and Goldfinger. Some bands you may not have heard of but I think are cool: Colony of Echoes, Anti-Fun Society, Blue October, and Pensive. These are bands that I like a good amount of their music, not just 2 songs.

Movies:

I'm really all over on this one, so heres a few more favorites (in no sembelence of order): Transformers (the 1980's anitmated one), Collateral, Face/Off, Spaceballs, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddels, basically anything Mel Brooks, Monty Python and the search for the Holy Grail, Closer, Stargate, Event Horizon, 6th Sense, Die Hard series, Limitless (based off of one of my favorite books), Swordfish, 25th Hour, Americal History X, most anything with Edward Norton, Stir of Echoes, Without a Paddel, Pitch Black, Rocky Horror Picture Show (yes I dress up sometimes), Fight Club, Go, and tons more I'm not listing or forgetting.

Television:

TV, not that I watch it much anymore.... I usually download the shows now (BitTorrent kicks ass). I tend to stick to Sci-Fi, comedy, action, and a little drama.

Books:

Books, there's far too many to list. My most recient favorite is jPod by Douglas Coupland. A short list of some favorites: Isaac Isamov's Robots, Empire, and Foundation series's (all 20+ books) as well as Nightfall, Nemesis, and others, Childhoods End and the RAMA series by Aurther C. Clarke, Rojer Zelanzy's "Amber" series, a book called "The Dark Fields" by Alan Glynn, and many more.

Foods:

My favorites are seafood (if it comes from the ocean, it's always been yummy to me and I'll eat it) and meats of almost any type. For styles, Sushi, "American" (steak, salad, etc. meals), Itilian, Japenese, Chineese, Thai, Jewish (I may be an Atheist, but I still love the food), prettymuch anything. I am not the biggest fan of spicy food, but it is good on occasion. Also, I will try just about anything at least once. I do however have a general and strong dislike of tofu.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In the totally literal sense: Air, water, food and shelter.

Not so literal: The Internet and my imagination (both for my own amusement).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of random things really, but music tends to be more often than most things. I have a pretty active imagination too, but explaining that would be far too long.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends. This usually involves some combination of dinner, movies, ice cream, TV, drinking (bar or party), seeing a local band play somewhere, or just hanging out at someones place and having fun of some sort.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There's no such thing as privacy in the classic sense anymore.
