[Current fave quote: "The only thing worse than terrorism is errorism. Don't be an errorist.]
So...feel free to grab some tea & a comfy seat, 'cuz this here's a long'un. [The twitter-addicted are welcome to hit the bold text. (c:] (A word of warning: you're either gonna love it or hate it; I'm okay with either, frankly. If you don't read all the way to the end, though, you're missin' out. Just sayin'...)
Now, lemme just say up front: I am a real, fun-havin' fella! However, when it comes to finding the right kinda gal, I'm compelled to be serious as a heart-attack.
If there's a single thing I'd want you to glean from this profile, it wouldn't be an impressive photo or witty line. It would be The Main Thing. What is that, you ask? Whelp...the absolute most important thing I can possibly convey to you is that there is a God Who is intrinsically Holy & that, in contrast, we humans are inherently unholy. For sinful us to be reconciled to Holy Him (with all the immeasurably gracious privilege that entails) and to avoid His undeniably just & righteous wrath, we must Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ & repent of our sins. (Yes, I did just use the "S" word. And I know...seriously harsh stuff! But true, nonetheless.)
Frankly, I'm saddened by the number of women whose profiles audaciously bear the "Christian" label...and yet - in the self-same profile - give not even a hint of genuine love for Christ or zeal for His Glory. Apparently, many professing Christians seem to think it's a necessity to prove just how "normal" they are with pics of "Cleavage & Courvoisier." (...Or kissing Times Square's Naked Cowboy...or fondling the NYSE bull's nads) What a way to represent the One Who paid for your life with His Own!
Common refrains I've read are, "I'm passionate about [this or that]," or "I'm a fun-lovin' person." Others state that only guys who recognize some line in a movie or favor a particular show are qualified to pursue. Really? Passion & fun are easy. Pop culture flares & fades. But, the woman in pursuit of God's Glory, who's passionate about His Holiness? That's a gal who is herself worthy of pursuit.
Put another way: how can '...and laughing about it', '...but not too serious about it', or even '...somewhat serious about it' be a summary of your Christian Faith when countless thousands of God's children have been martyred throughout history (& still tens of thousands yearly) for the Faith "once for all delivered to the saints?" (Jude 1:3) Being a Christian is sorta like being pregnant; one either is, or isn't.
Having said alla dat...the bottom line really is Christ. It's in Him that we live & move & have our being. Without Him, there IS no Christianity. Indeed, there is nothing.
I know...intense, huh? Yeeep, Truth tends to be like dat.
Whelp...on to lesser things, shall we?
So, my ethnicity is "Afro-Italo-mericano." (Sounds like a Starbucks drink, I know. But really, who cares about all the hy-phuh-nay-shuns?) Born and raised in Minneapolis, I've lived in several US states, Germany and Hong Kong. But am quite happy to be settled for several years now in LA's San Fernando Valley.
Though I can be fiercely ideologic, I can also be insanely goofy! Friends would say I'm: a straight clown sometimes, pretty smart, a good listener & decent conversationalist. After meeting me, most people aren't all that surprised to learn that I originally moved to LA to be an actor. (However, that part of my life is long behind me.)

A word on communication: My purpose for joining this site is singular; I'm a marriage-minded guy seekin' a Christ-lovin' gal for some "weddi-fi-cay-shun." (Which means I'm not merely seeking a "life-enhancing partnership" ...marriage was designed for a much greater purpose than that.) With that in mind, I welcome your "nudge" (admittedly, I do sometimes skim profiles a bit too quickly; a subtle suggestion to "revisit" can be helpful). However, please don't take offense if I don't respond. (c: (I beg you to understand that I don't mean to slight you one bit. But, I'm certain of what I seek, am very purposeful with my use of this site & may as well not waste time for either of us. I trust you'll graciously accept (or at least respect) this.)
Also, I respect others' preferences, so (for instance), this 40-something daddy won't be contacting those who state they prefer 28 to 38 year-olds or aren't mature enough for kids...
About the Visuals: Christian ladies, I sincerely hope the LORD sends you a Godly, Servant-Leader man who will be ALL about your GOOD & about God's GLORY!
Speaking of God's Glory: do you think it ever wise to represent Him with a lack of modesty ("generous" skin, cleavage, "painted-on" clothing, swimwear, legs agape, etc., etc., etc.)? Think about it: Believers are called to minister to each other in love. What is ministry but service to others, to promote their holiness? Do you demonstrate to your Bros in Christ (or non-Believers, for that matter) that you actually care enough to point them to Christ & away from the sensual imagery with which our culture daily bombards them?
Some of you professing Believers need to re-think exactly how posting needlessly tempting pics is supposed to help differentiate you from those who don't give a rip. Or perhaps be true to who you really are & simply drop the Christian label altogether. I mean really, that whole prudish sub-culture's just holding you back anyway now ain't it?
Along those lines, I submit -->this video<-- for your consideration. It offers a brief commentary on the history & culture of the Bikini. (I promise it's a safe link!)
Here also is -->an insightful article<-- from a lovely gal who's down in the trenches, fighting the good fight for balance between style & immodesty.
Soli Deo Gloria!
