My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm drawn to things that involve solving problems. I can spend hours on the silliest things, which combined with my tendency to go off on tangents can be dangerous. Both computer programming and video games are fun for this reason. I can push past frustrating blocks knowing a solution is at the end.

I love puns and will get into pun wars with you at the drop of a hat. So far my attempts at starting one on here have been unsuccessful though :(

I not so secretly love cute things too. I will spam you with videos and pictures of them if you let me. Recently ran into Quokkas, the 'happiest animal on earth'. Adoooorable.

Loyalty and friendship is important to me. Some good examples of this would be Boston Legal, Supernatural, and BBC Sherlock. I feel there isn't enough of it in the world, and I haven't always been the greatest example myself, so I use that as motivation to be a better person in that regard. Which means if you're looking for a new friend, I'm totally down, and I'll make sure I've got your back.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been working on a flash game with some friends as the first game in what will hopefully be a decent indie startup. I also work at ups to pay the bills. A really physical job, but it's nice to have a job that gets me moving and physical to balance out all the nerdy stuff I do. Also I get to work with hazardous chemicals which is always fun.

I love spending time with my friends, especially ones I can tangent with about the silliest things (or most serious things). Our topics range from current politics, to who would win in a fight between Dante and Superman, to how a car's mirror we drove by was shattered on the edges but not the center, and how that could have happened.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm getting pretty good at fixing computers, due to my horrible luck with them breaking down.

Part of it I have a bit of optimism that I will find a solution eventually if I plug away at it enough. With enough time and google, I generally do.

Also I got hit by a car once and went flying, but I wasn't hurt, so sometimes my friends joke about me being immune to cars.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be quiet when I'm first getting to know someone, but once I'm comfortable, I'm pretty easy-going and always trying to make people laugh. Which is actually often the reason I'm quiet at first, I'm trying to figure out what kind of humor you like.

Other than that, I'd say my cellphone holster. Maybe it looks a little silly, but it's functional okay :( Keeps me from butt dialing people... usually. My phone really like to do this anyways and I don't even have anyone on speed dial.

Video games
Love rpgs Baldur's gate and Ogre Battle. Great rpgs, each for different reasons. Great music, great story, great characters, great gameplay. And I love long games. I also love Skyrim, although my tendency to tangent is DANGEROUS with that game. I start like 50 quests, go to complete one, end up in another city, finish it and start like 50 more. Then go to complete another one, chase a giant down, then end up in a completely different city and... you get the idea.

Just started playing the Heroes of the Storm beta. It's pretty addictive and much easier than league to pick up. I love watching pro league matches too though.

Books and mangas
The Belgariad and the sequel series The Malloreon by David Eddings are my absolute favorite. Also Xanth, Claymore, Pastel and more. Puns, action, romance, fantasy are all some of my favorite elements.

Show/Series I like
Supernatural, BBC Sherlock, Psych, Burn Notice, Sailor Moon, Boston Legal, Xena are all shows I really like, and not coincidentally all have heavy elements of bromance and/or friendship. Sword Art Online and Babylon 5 get special mentions.

Other shows I like include Log Horizon, Full Metal Alchemist, Kimagure Orange Road, Arrow, Justice League Unlimited, Pretty much anything to do with superheros really.

Food
Foodwise, all my friends will tell you that I love burgers. If I ever go vegetarian, Carl's Junior will probably go out of business.

Music
I like practically everything, but recently fallen in love with Lindsey Stirling's music. So sad I missed her recent concert in Portland. To mention a few other bands/artists I enjoy in absolutely no particular order, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Weird Al, Epic Rap Battles, Pat Benetar, Delain, music from Silent Hill, That one freaking song from Frozen...

Board Games
My brother seriously owns a bajillion board games so whenever we end up playing, it's never boring. A lot of nerdy board games too... some of my favorites are Battlestar Galactica, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Red Dragon Inn.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The freedom and doors my car has opened are extremely important to me as well. If gas wasn't so expensive, I'd probably go out driving just for fun.

Even though I'm an introvert and need my alone time, I also love to socialize, and I'm usually hanging out with my friends 2-3 times a week.

My computer and an internet connection are super important because I need them for work and fun.

I need something to occupy my mind with. I get rather bored if I don't have a problem to solve, and it's one of the reasons I love programming, because there's -always- something to think about.

Good food is probably the last one (although it helps I'm hungry at the time of writing this). Between my lack of money and love of food, I'm very slowly starting to learn to cook.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A lot of things. Sometimes I'm thinking about whatever my latest programming project is, sometimes I'm thinking about philosophical things like if free will can exist if time travel is possible, and sometimes I'm thinking about throwing giant foam balls over the moon (but that's usually when I'm dreaming).

Right now I'm thinking about myself thinking about what I usually think about, and it's starting to give me a headache. Moving on!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. I work nightshift at UPS, so every friday night I'm at work.

But if the question was more meant to ask how do I spend my free time on the weekends, the answer is that I'm usually at my home on the computer. Or hanging out with friends, depending on which day it is (Saturday is TABLETOP GAME DAY!!). Also sometimes I randomly get bored and will go to a dance club.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a bad memory. I get way too proud of myself whenever I successfully cook something... the first time I made eggs, ham, and bacon I took a picture and sent it to a friend. Also, I have a bad memory.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If playing games and watching movies on the couch sounds like a good time to you, and you'd like someone to do it with.

If you think you can charm my cat. Seriously, she doesn't like anyone except me, not even my roommates. She is the biggest scardy-cat ever. My best friend has tried, but she's also kitty bipolar. After years of trying to get her to warm up to him, she'll let him pet her sometimes for like 15 seconds and get really into it... then suddenly hiss at him to get away.

If you just want to make friends. I can always use new friends. On a similar vein if you wanna start off as friends and see if things develop from there. I actually prefer this way of doing things anyways.

If you know how many times a man must look up before he can see the sky.
