This isn't going to be weird at all, writing about how amazing and slightly awesome I am. I am a pretty bright, sunny bloke and I sometimes stray into being quite witty, although how that happens still eludes me. Oh also..yeah! I'm amazing, and slightly awesome.

Aside from pretending to know what I'm doing with my life and appearing like I'm on top of all the important things like reading the economist (never successful) and tweeting (just don't get it), I'm trying to forge a career in Film and TV production, and have just moved to London to look for work in script editing and development. It's tough going but when i'm working i couldn't think of being anywhere else.

I'm a pretty good skier! It's my favourite thing to do, aside from watching movies. I'm a pretty good athlete, I keep fit but I don't work out and do stupid power-shakes or whatever. I really am a good cook. I'm incredibly modest.

Movies: where to start?! Tsotsi, Hook, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Blade Runner, The Lion King, American History X, The Pianist, Alien, Cinema Paradiso, most Studio Ghibli Films. When Harry Met Sally.
Shows: The West Wing (unbeatable), Friday Night Lights, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Parks and Recreation, Being Human, Generation Kill.
Music: mainly acoustic stuff but quite an eclectic taste really.

I have little time for Kath Kidston "baker" types. Whenever I see or hear about cupcakes i die a little inside. Yes they are tasty but making them does not count as a reason for celebration or a proud instagram of your organic icing lovingly made with real british strawberries. Ugh. #1950sHousewife
