I'm a problem solver. I like to figure out how things work and how to make them better. Whether it's a mechanical system, a recipe, literature, art or a plastic bag.

My personality contrasts a bit with the rather mechanical description above. I am goofy as shit. Completely random things amuse me to no end. My proudest moment typically involve divinely inspired Campbell-eqsue one liners after eons of silence. My greatest embarrassments are when I try to invoke such things.

I love food and cooking. Total foodie. I've been known to break down recipes at good restaurants from taste and attempt to recreate them later. My mother's family is Italian, so shared meals are one of my highest values. I take great pride in my cooking.

I am only ashamed of my failures. Never of my actions.

Be forewarned, I am an engineer. We are generally show symptoms of low level Asperger Syndrome and are confused by some things most people understand innately.

I live in the outer sunset district of SF. While there don't seem to be that many good bars around here, the dim sum is pretty sweet.

I work as an engineer for a milkshake company in SOMA. I've only recently started working in SOMA so I'm looking to explore the area.

I play flanker for a bay area rugby team. It allows me to show my talents for running in a straight line, hitting people, getting the crap beat out of me, and imbibing large quantities brewed beverages in very short periods of time.

Figuring out systems. How things work and or how things came to be. I can quickly grasp the fundamentals of most tasks, processes, crafts or art forms. I tend to apply this to a wide variety of things, making me a jack of all trades.

If I become engrossed in something, it can become a little consuming until I achieve a low level of mastery in it.

A) That they are confused about my ethnic background.

B) Curly hair on a dude who looks Asian.

C) Broad shoulders and highly developed deltoids.

D) A ridiculous T-shirt.

Lately my typical Friday night is either hanging at a watering hole with close friends or going straight to bed without having to think about work.

I want to reclaim my Friday nights as a time for adventure, and revelry, but have found surprisingly little to wrest me away from the promise of rest.

I'm a kind of a nerd. It's not really private, but its the best fit for what goes in this box.
