I am Funny, a Good listener, and an Avid Reader.

My Self-Summary

Howdy! I moved up here from Texas in 2007. I attended the University of Chicago for a semester of graduate school but found it wanting. Now I work for Starbucks and am enjoying as much of Chicago as I can. My favorite spot is Promontory Point in Hyde Park. I love to read and if I knew more people I would be at the movie theatre constantly. I'm looking to find more friends and eventually a long term companion. Right now I'm trying out new activities in hopes to challenge myself.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm trying to make a living here in Chicago. Looking for opportunities to realize my life long dreams. My goal recently is to take on hobbies so I'm slowly acquiring new skills and talents.

The six things I could never do without

1) A good book to read
2) My grandmother's AND mother's voices
3) Pants with pockets
4) My cell phone (unfortunately)
5) A friend to call
6) Comfortably cool shoes!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

1) My place in this world. How I was made
2) What time was it that I had to be at work?
3) Which book to read now
4) Which person do I need to call now
5) What should I be doing now that is considered "productive"

On a typical Friday night I am

1) At work
2) Eating dinner with a friend
3) Watching tv online because I don't have a television
4) Reading a book
