Part of me wants to just start naming off a never ending list of
bands, books, movies, and shows. The other part of me can't help
but notice that this stuff hasn't really mattered for making new
friends in my adult life. I'll just summarize it for you.
I like things that make me laugh, but I also like scary, and also
educational. That covers movies, books, and shows.
The most recent books have read and liked are Steig Larson's
millennium trilogy, a compilation of Lovecraft's short stories, and
I'm just starting to get into Neil Gaiman. Holy shit, why did I
ever put off reading Gaiman for so long??? So far I've read
"American Gods" and "Stardust". I plan to work my way through
everything he has written to date. I'm hooked on Neil Gaiman.
As for music, I like mostly heavier stuff like punk and metal.
Though I will listen to almost anything in a social setting, and
there are plenty of bands I like that fall under other
miscellaneous genres. Some bands I've been listening to lately are
Kylesa, Isis, Nachtmystium, Baroness, The Sword, and Electric
Wizard. I'm also genuinely interested in checking out an opera, or
classical symphony orchestra.
Anything spicey is usually tasty. I am completely omnivorous, and
will try any new food you can throw at me. I enjoy cooking and
baking as well, and I'm always down for food related projects. One
time I made a cake that was shaped like a medieval castle.
I think it's far more interesting to learn about about what a
person likes from talking with them, rather than from an online
