My self-summary
Despite having lived in Portland for almost 3 years now, I feel like I've barely explored this city. I would describe myself as a bit of a nerd. I enjoy trips to the science museum, comic books, and video games. I also enjoy art projects. I've got a few of my own that I'm working on, but I wish I worked on them more often.

I've yet to develop the taste for good coffee and/or beer that most Portlanders seem to aquire from living here.

I'm not super outdoorsy, but I love going for hikes in the wilderness and camping. I wish I knew more outdoorsy people who could show me around the vast Oregon wilderness. I want to do so much swimming this summer. Let's go to the river!
What I’m doing with my life
In my free time I work on a late night comedy show. I add my sarcastic and somewhat dark sense of humor to an otherwise silly ensemble. Check it out!

I also make my own stickers! I'm cool like that.
I’m really good at
Making inappropriate jokes about serial killers and cannibalism.

Entertaining myself with old Simpson's quotes for hours.

Making Tom Kha Gai.
The first things people usually notice about me
Several homeless people have told me I look like John Cusack, or Russell Crowe.

I've also been told that I'm tall on numerous occasions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Part of me wants to just start naming off a never ending list of bands, books, movies, and shows. The other part of me can't help but notice that this stuff hasn't really mattered for making new friends in my adult life. I'll just summarize it for you.

I like things that make me laugh, but I also like scary, and also educational. That covers movies, books, and shows.

The most recent books have read and liked are Steig Larson's millennium trilogy, a compilation of Lovecraft's short stories, and I'm just starting to get into Neil Gaiman. Holy shit, why did I ever put off reading Gaiman for so long??? So far I've read "American Gods" and "Stardust". I plan to work my way through everything he has written to date. I'm hooked on Neil Gaiman.

As for music, I like mostly heavier stuff like punk and metal. Though I will listen to almost anything in a social setting, and there are plenty of bands I like that fall under other miscellaneous genres. Some bands I've been listening to lately are Kylesa, Isis, Nachtmystium, Baroness, The Sword, and Electric Wizard. I'm also genuinely interested in checking out an opera, or classical symphony orchestra.

Anything spicey is usually tasty. I am completely omnivorous, and will try any new food you can throw at me. I enjoy cooking and baking as well, and I'm always down for food related projects. One time I made a cake that was shaped like a medieval castle.

I think it's far more interesting to learn about about what a person likes from talking with them, rather than from an online resume.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being an international jewel thief.

How cool it would be if I could ride a dinosaur to work every day.

What if skeletons were actually real?
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing the same thing I do every night...Trying to take over the world!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I work in a porn store, selling smut to tweakers and creeps. It's an interesting job, but not something I wish to make a career out of. Though I have collected quite a few interesting stories from work.

Also, I'm terrified of bees. Seriously, bees are scary.
