My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I received my master's degree in global, international, and comparative history from Georgetown University and I have a BA in history from Sonoma State University in California. I work at a think tank where I research global philanthropy.

I enjoy:
-Preppy fashion that I can't afford
-Scandinavian electro-pop
-Cooking complicated dishes with numerous spices
-Organized work spaces
-Computer games (current favorites include: FTL, Kentucky Route Zero, and BioShock Infinite)
-Books from nearly every genre
-Long walks or runs in inclement weather (I really like the rain and colder weather)
-Taking pictures of inanimate objects (mostly food and sculpture--I'm so sorry)
-Single origin coffee (I'm *that* guy)
-Itemized lists
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I won't rule out a PhD, but I'd like to to keep plugging away in the work force for awhile. It provides a certain "real world" perspective that academia lacks.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Avoiding conflict, making dinner, and pretending to be a psychotherapist.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think my eyeballs are kinda cool...

...But eyeballs *are* pretty damn cool.

My friends and family

Earplugs (silence is vastly underrated)
The interwebs and the technology that brings it to us

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I want to be remembered.

I also spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about death (in a pseudo-philosophical way), sex, baked goods, and what my wings would look like if I had wings.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
reading something, dominating a Cards Against Humanity game, or watching Netflix and drinking something potent (lately I've been enjoying Genepy des Alpes).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a drawer full of candy near my computer and I'm not that sorry.

I used to be a level 80 gnome priestess and main raid heals. If you don't know what that means, don't worry.
