Your Notes
Edit your notesI am Sarcastic, Quirky, and Competitive..
My Self-Summary
I currently work two jobs, both retail, until I move to Buffalo in the Spring. I'm quite excited for that move :)
I'm pretty independent but I also have a very needy side, which comes out mostly when I'm lonely or depressed but also comes out at other moments. I like to be social, but I'm not a big party animal or club-goer, so while those are fun once in a while, they're not something on my weekly to-do list (which I don't have, by the way).
I drink on occasion and I despise smoking. I'm interested in other languages and am going to school to become a teacher, although what type of teacher I haven't decided on yet.
My past is somewhat shitty and I don't like to talk much about it; My last real relationship was about two years in length and was both the best relationship and the worst relationship I ever had, but I do not regret it a bit and sometimes only wish that it could happen all over again, but with a better outcome and some better decisions made on both parts.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm planning on getting my Master's in Education with some more fun degrees in languages, specifically starting out with English, Spanish and ASL, then moving on to German and French.
I’m really good at
I enjoy reading and hiking and I'm very competitive. I'm an avid card player (as my friends and family have nothing better to do when we're stuck indoors during the winter months) and I do have a tiny addiction to poker, although I don't always play for money.
I absolutely hate repeating myself, although when I'm teaching that's a different situation.
The first things people usually notice about me
:P
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: Horror bore me, romance entrance me (haha that rhymed), and cartoons... well, some of them are okay :)
Food: I love to eat, but I'm picky. I'm a big fan of pasta and pizza, which I think is because of the feasibility it provides, not because I am a fourth Italian (heritage-wise people).
The six things I could never do without
1. Close friends/Family
2. Coffee (came close to going first)
3.
4.
5.
6.
(I'll fill them in once I figure them out.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about my relationships and friendships and what ties them together, along with reminiscing on past events and pondering the future. World events are sometimes on my mind, but I'm not too educated in that field so usually I just read a few articles and leave what I know at that.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
But not a story...
The past, oh, ten years, I've lived my life openly... very, very openly, and that's something that I'm starting to turn around. I'm coming to realize that when you're entirely open and honest with everyone around you, it's never a mutual action, and therefore you tend to get hurt a lot.
I am still very open but am trying to keep my life more private, for the sake of my own happiness and to keep others out, which I am now finding necessary (sadly). How about that?
