Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
There's a time for some things, and a time for all things: a time
for great things, and a time for small things. To everything there
is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
Well where to begin. I'm definitely what you would consider laid
back. By that I mean I take it one day at a time, unfortunately
that can cause problems when I actually do try to plan something. I
try not to worry to much about what will be and rather enjoy what
is. You could definitely considered me to be on the geeky side.
I've got a BS in Civil Engineering, so I enjoy talking about
I love animals and I would have a type of each if possible.
Currently I've got a cat, sort of. She's currently living at my
parent's house since my job sends me out of town a lot. If there's
a feline version of a mutt, that's the breed she be.
I'm a movie adict in such a way that I've spent several thousand on
building a DVD collection before. I'm also a first degree black
belt in Tae Kwon Do. This was something I sort of fell into. I
started taking classes while in college because some of the guys I
lived with were taking it and it kind of got out of control after
that. In keeping with the marital arts theme, I do have some swords
that I've collected.
Another thing I collect are nerf dart guns. Don't ask me why cause
I don't know anymore, but every so often I'll add a gun to my
collection. I'm looking forward to the day when my nephews are old
enough to have a dart war.
If you've made it this far, you aware that I'm not the best at
describing myself. As thus, I've decided to try and include one
common theme in each section.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What I'm doing with my life, well working to pay the bills at the
moment. But really, I'm working for an engineering firm in Lenexa
and I'm training a couple of lab mice to take over the world for
me, possibly at night when no one is looking. Oh preparing for the
eventual zombie takeover is a big thing for me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procastionation is one, but I prefer to admit I'm good at knowing
what movie is on tv with only seeing about 5 secs of it. Killing
zombies, or at least I know how to kill them when they eventually
arise, which they will.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've got no idea, whatever it is they don't seem to want me to
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book: Sci Fi and Fantasy are my favorite genres with The Wheel of
Time series being my overall favorite. The Zombie Survival Guide is
also a must read.
Movies: At one point I had 500 DVDs, so I don't really have just
one favorite. But some that I can watch anytime are the Die Hard
series, Rambo series, Terminator series, pretty much any comic book
movie such as X-Men, and of course the Jay and Silent Bob
Shows: Big fan of all the Stargate shows. Also I enjoy most anime
that I've seen. Basically if it's got something big exploding in
it, I'll watch it.
Music: Metallica, enough said, moving on now.
Food: Love Chinese and good ( this doesn't include taco bell)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Weapons - At least two handguns, a rifle, and some kind of bladed
weapon, zombies beware.
Books - Something to keep my mind occupied during the duller parts
of the day.
Movies - When I'm too tired to read
Friends - They nice to have and if you've got enough, it will take
that much longer for the zombies to reach you.
Batcave - Its the batcave.
Food - Couldn't think of anything else.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
And here's where I get my nerd on. I spend time trying to finalize
my theories on time travel paradoxes. This is an obsession born out
of all the time travel movies where I've noticed several paradoxes
that are simply ignored.
Also the impending Zombie Apocalypse.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sitting at home playing with the pets.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've got a large dark birthmark on my chest.
