My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just moved here from Connecticut. The move came out of left field and I'm sort of making it up as I go along. I'm a student at ASU for mechanical engineering. I seized the narrow opportunity with the mentality that "you can't cross the ocean without losing sight of the shore."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm going to school for mechanical engineering. I'm also in the National Guard. I do a lot of charity/community service/donating events and lately getting into those 5k's.

I made a 3D printer, so that's been a hobby for me. I've been getting into dev boards like the arduino or raspberry pi.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Why don't you ask me. It'll give us something to talk about.

Namely electro/mechanical stuff. Mechanical Engineering
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How resourceful I am. If I see people struggling, I can't help but offer help and this is mostly the way I interact and meet people - they usually say I'm clever
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite book is a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories. I feel that Fight Club is probably the best movie ever made (although unfortunately sexist). My favorite band is Tool but I listen to a lot of different music I don't even realize I listen to. If you have that Pandora app, you'll know what I mean. I can't keep up with music so I let others do it for me and that thing does a pretty good job. I like good food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other engineering fields that I am not well practiced in. I'm constantly looking up news about various projects or achievements.

The way Tyler Durden thinks.

So.... what's on your mind?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately since moving out here I'm searching for something to do. I don't know anybody or anything here (hopefully this site might help).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nice try! Better luck next time!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Message me if you're looking for new friends. This is genuine, not some creepy ploy to get that one night stand or other ulterior motives. I see a lot of looking for friends out there.

If you're active that's a big plus. I miss hiking in CT and while I still maintain a lot of outdoor activities out here (there's a lot of cool parks in this area), it bites doing them alone. A running partner would make a big difference
