Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
38 years old, 5'8", living on the North side in Bucktown and
working downtown. Never married, no kids.
Some random facts about me:
Grew up in a small Midwestern town. My high-school graduating class
had only 80 kids. My friends who grew up in the 'burbs always seem
to be amazed by this.
I'm one of five kids (second oldest).
Spent five years living in Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City. It
was a great location, and I still miss being so close to the
I have been known to be: a little OCD, kind of high-strung, a good
drinking buddy, a decent runner, loved by animals, Moms, and little
kids. I'm kind of disorganized, and there's always a pile of
laundry to be done. I'm sort of a homebody, and if it’s a question
of heading out to the bars or staying in and watching a DVD, I may
opt for the DVD. I'm always up for an adventure though, and have
always been someone who's willing to try anything once. I'm a bit
of an introvert, I guess, who has his extrovert moments from time
I'm not looking for anything super-serious right off the bat. Would
like to find someone to hang out with after work, go on the
occasional trip, and just kind of enjoy spending time with each
other. Life can be miserable sometimes, but it's a lot more
bearable if you have a shoulder to lean on. Or at least someone to
sit with in the bar and bitch about work with!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly sitting in a cubicle downtown, telling people how to fix
airplanes. Occasionally, I travel someplace and tell them how to
fix airplanes in person.
Overall, it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life, but it
pays the bills.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Books: I don't get a chance to read books as much as I would like,
but when I do it's usually non-fiction. Most recent read was a book
about working for the UN in war-torn third-world countries in the
Movies: The Untouchables. I love how they were able to recreate
Shows: I don't watch a lot of TV, but I love anything with a good
story arc. Most recently been following Justified, and I'm forever
disappointed that Firefly was cancelled. Lately, I watch way too
much Archer. I still find that show hilarious, no matter how many
times I've seen an individual episode.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably just chilling at home, unwinding from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is a question on here: Are you happy with your life? I'm
always kinda amazed by the fact that 98% of you answer Yes. I
answered No. I mean, I'm not necessarily unhappy, but dang, I'm not
entirely happy either.

another over a couple drinks" kinda dates.
You're someone who realizes that life is 10% of what happens to

You're not quite sure what you want out of life, but think it'd be
