a second chance at life
May 4, 2009
So I was given a second chance at life today.
It was raining the whole day...spent most of the day doing stuff for school but then went and hung out with an amazing girl afterward.
I took 422 home. I'm keeping up with traffic, not speeding at all...doing 55 maybe 60. The guy in front of me is going a little slower than I thought. I apply a little bit of pressure on the breaks. All of a sudden My car starts to move side to side rapidly. I apparently (from what the police officer told me) bumped the other vehicle involved, bounded off of that car and careened into the concrete median and then spun around, my backside hittin the other car again (I'm not sure but I think I remember seeing the other car on its side).
All I remember after that is staring at traffic through my drivers side window. Traffic was stopped (thank God) and my car was sideways in the middle of rt 422, airbags deployed.
Thank God everyone was ok...both cars were totaled. It still feels so surreal and I can't believe all three of the people (one being me) walked away completely unscathed.
I've been given a second lease on life. I thought for sure I was going to die, and yet I walk away with not even a scratch.
Funny thing is that the only thing on my mind the entire time was this girl :/

A Death Sentence too soon

So my dog's original diagnosis of living for 3 months has been
drastically cut short.
She's grown yet ANOTHER tumor the size of a wiffle ball over a period of 3 days, and its right above the other one. I can now FEEL the root of the tumor going up her leg and into her chest cavity. She's melancholy and will only get up for treats and cookies. She has a hollow look in her eyes and I can tell when she looks at me that she's in pain. I can't even look at her without tears trying to pry their way out of my eyes....its so damn hard to deal with this shit.
My Dad says he doesn't know if she'll make it until Wednesday but as long as she has a spark and is able to move around we're gonna spoil her rotten and make her last few days the best she's ever had
I've had her since I've been old enough to even have a memory, she's now 16 yrs old.
I love my pup Crystal <3

:( sad sad day
Apr 15, 2009
So i was informed by my father today that, our Dog Crystal, has at
the most 3 months to live.
Over the last week and a half we've observed a small cyst on her front left leg grow from dime sized to baseball size. We took her to the vet today and he said that its an extremely aggressive tumor and we're only seeing a small part of it. It goes all the way up her leg and into her chest, possibly her lungs. The only way to cure it would be to amputate her leg, but because of her age she wouldn't be able to get around with 3 legs AND the tumor would likely grow back.
The only thing we can do for her currently is give her pain meds and wait it out :(
3 months max...she's 16 and she's had an awesome life, but its hard losing a pet, especially one that's been with you for so long.

concerning IM's
Sep 25, 2008
What the hell. If you're going to choose NOT to message someone, at
least give them the courtesy of a "sorry not interested" rather
than closing the IM window immediately.
If someone says they aren't interested, I can respect that, because you had the decency and respect to tell me so, rather than ignoring me and being a complete and total asshole about it.
If you're on a dating site its only natural that you'll get emails and IMs from GUYS (and possibly other girls as well). if you're not going to talk to them, why even bother being on here at all?

opinions?
Jul 20, 2008
So I have a hobby of creating music on my computer... THIS however
is new to me, i've created mostly trance/club type stuff.
This is my first attempt at doing any kind of metal/rock sounding piece and I'm interested in people's opinions.

I know I need to finish the effects and processing work, but the writing phase I believe is finished.
Let me know what you folks think :)

Short Review of The Dark Knight
Jul 18, 2008
So I went to see the Dark Knight last night at an advanced
screening.
I won't spoil anything for anyone because this movie is one of the few that is totally worth the $10 admission price (which I didn't have to pay :D, I got in for free because it was a special event hosted by Intel)
So the movie starts out, and your anticipation is running high because of all of the viral advertisement and how long this movie has been advertised for. I won't go into detail because like I said, I don't want to spoil anything.
I guess my main points are these: A) if you're a fan of Batman, in any way, shape or form, you need to go see this movie.
B) Heath ledger ( R.I.P. ) stole the movie with his absolutely ingenious and near perfect portrayal of the Joker. He isn't anything like Jack Nicholson's "The way I'm going to kill you will be funny" joker, its more along the lines of a "I'm going to cut you into tiny little pieces and Laugh about it while you scream in agony"
The character was portrayed EXACTLY how I imagined it should have been
Not to ramble on...but GO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW!
WHY SO SERIOUS!?

stimulus check
Jun 14, 2008
So I find out today that I won't even be getting a stimulus
check...the reason being because my parents claimed me as a
dependent for 2007.
wtf!? I wasn't even living in the same state as them in 2007...
this is really eating at me. There goes $300 dollars that I really could have used...especially right now as I have almost no money to my name..
I confronted my dad about it and he goes, " I provided over half of your living expenses last year"
Me: I didn't even live here last year!
Him: I used TurboTax...it does everything for me, don't yell at me about it.
yeah blame a program...ugh

So I just got back from seeing The Incredible Hulk.
It was freeking amazing! Edward Norton did an amazing job.
Let's hope Captain America and Thor are just as good.
On a side note I'll be seeing the dark knight the day before its official release!
OH! and the surgery on the toes went extremely well :)
