I am funny, smart, and happy.

My Self-Summary

I am a 32 single professional. I have never been married and have no children except for my dog Hank. I am currently enjoying life and living each day to its fullest, though the constant grind of a less then exciting job has begun to put a funk on some things.

I love the outdoors and live on the family farm by the Kentucky River in Woodford County I love waking up in the morning and looking out on the dew covered fields, the chickens and turkeys, the deer. It is refreshing.

I have been slacking in my level of exercise and keep vowing to get back into a routine with my Stairmaster. I need to step up to get back into my running shape. It can be hard after a long day to do more then collapse on the couch, but it is going to happen.

I am interested in many things, from politics and history to TV and music. I read tons of different material from Novels & Short stories to Magazines and book reviews. I especially love fantasy and science fiction related material, but I also really enjoy police and crime stories. I also keep current in international politics, it has always been something that I have enjoyed and studied in both undergrad and graduate school.

I love playing trivia at bars in Frankfort and Lexington. The competitive nature in me comes out. I am looking for someone to have fun with, hang out, maybe more.

My dog and animals in general are very important to me. I have a wonderful big dog named Hank; he is a Redbone Coonhound/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He makes life fun and joyful. The pure love that he provides is something that is hard to beat.

My love of politics and my liberal outlook on life has drawn me from an early age to the Democratic Party. That often does not go over well in Kentucky, especially my support of gay marriage and abortion rights.

I will be up front, I am an atheist. Not a militant one, but strong enough of one that most showing of faith makes me uncomfortable at first. I understand others need for faith; it is just the forcing of it on others that drives me insane and makes me want to get the ACLU involved.

I would love to chat and get to know you, any age, race, or political party :)

What I’m doing with my life

I am trying to find enjoyment and fun. My profession is not exciting, so I am looking for fun outside of the office. I spend a lot of time with my dog and family, but also love alone time. In the future I plan to change jobs to something more fulfilling, but am waiting for the economy to improve.

I’m really good at

I am really good at making others smile, I can also say something or do something that will brighten your day. I am great at trivia, and the knowing of useless information. I have been told I am good at other things.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile and cheerful personality.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

This really too much to write. I love all types of books, from classic novels to pulp modern detective stories. I read history and current events. I love a good drama, but a great comedy can blow me away. I love classic rock and most music pre-2000s. I am a child of the 80s and 90s, so that era rocks me still. I love all types of food, especially ethnic foods, but if it is good...I will love it.

The six things I could never do without

I am not sure I can answer this...tough to put down.

1. Basics (shelter, food, clothing)
2. Friends & Family (I know it is two things....but come on)
3. My Dogs (Hank and Anna)
4. Politics (nothing is more exciting and more inspiring, plus it is only real drama anymore that we don't know the conclusion.)
5. UK Basketball (if you are not part of the Big Blue Nation you would not understand and think this is shallow...but you didn't grow up in Kentucky)
6. Books (both audio and real books, they entertain and enlighten)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Politics...especially the Obama administration. I am worried about the current state of the world and the economy and hope to see some changes soon.

I also think a lot about where I am in life and where I am headed...wondering what choices I can make in the future.

Obviously, love and sex...or I would not be on this website :)

On a typical Friday night I am

Depends on the Friday...but lately I have been spending them with my niece and nephew...I have always enjoyed relaxing on Fridays after work, rather then going out...so I watch my niece and nephew and really enjoy it.

Saturday is the night I like to go out, to bars for musik or to sports events or the movies.

You should message me if

I would love to chat with anyone...I like new experiences, so please give me a message.
