My self-summary
The short answer:

I'm a full-time writer, mostly screenplays but other things as well. I love movies (my major was in Film Studies) and literature and art and RPGs and good food and science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I love to travel.
What I’m doing with my life
- Writing scripts. Trying to get my science fiction comedy feature screenplay optioned. Currently finishing up a horror television pilot.

- Writing articles and short stories and the second draft of my novel, with another novel on the way.

- Learning ukulele, babysitting for friends, singing at karaoke, reading.
I’m really good at
screenwriting, short stories, singing, photoshop, editing (text and video), making epic salads and stir-fries.
The first things people usually notice about me
Big eyes: Kids used to call me The Alien.
I ware a fedora in the winter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These lists don't include everything, and but I made sure to mention the most accessible stuff.

print fiction writers: Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Kelly Link, Chuck Palahniuk, Chuck Wendig, Scott Lynch, George R.R. Martin, Terry Pratchett. Daniel Handler...

music: Hawksley Workman, Sarah Slean, Serena Ryder, Janice Joplin, Eels, Sergei Prokofiev, Fishtank Ensemble, folk, cabaret, songs from old musicals (yes, I'm a nerd) I've also been nicely surprised by music that I thought I wouldn't like.

food: pretty much any Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or Indian foods. Cherries. Grapes. Spicy food. I'm an omnivore, but most of my meals tend to be vegetarian.
The six things I could never do without
That's a difficult question. Anything I want to put down here I have survived without in the past. I adapt.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Thematic and trope connections between otherwise unrelated fictional stories. Film history. Feminism.
On a typical Friday night I am
Conversations with friends, over tea, wine, fine beers, or s'mores.
