I am fun, caring, and unique.

My Self-Summary

How to start. I'm a chef and a psychology major. Ive been cooking since I was around 12 years in age, but I love intellectual games, and by games I mean philosophy and psychology. Figuring out why people are the way they are and being able to argue about subjective belief sets are, to me, fun. However, I also love nature; why? Because nature equals balance, and balance is one of the key areas to living a good life. I love music... all kinds of music, I play the saxophone (and every other woodwind), I like to play golf, hike, go to restaurants. I have a lot of things I like, and I typically enjoy them even more when I'm doing them with somebody.

I'm not a big fan of talking about myself in terms of who I am.. but I can talk your ear off about things that I have learned. I have researched love and sex while I was getting my psychology degree, they were an interesting subsection of person to person interactions. In all reality, I'm just a very eclectic person, I know a little about a lot, I like a lot of things, and I prefer to spread my time evenly between all the things I care about.

At times, I'm really quite out there, and by out there I mean, that my brain is in the clouds thinking of something. Because I like to think about such things as space and time, or the meaning of life, or philosophies on emotions, etc... when I'm either waiting for something to happen, or doing something that requires little concentration, you can usually find me floating away trying to find answers to questions that can't be answered.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently a chef, and I do enjoy cooking. However, I am planning on going back to school to get my Masters in Psychology, from there, the idea is to one day become a therapist in my own private practice.

I’m really good at

Cooking! But we've probably guessed that one by now eh? I've found that there is not a whole lot I'm not good at. I seem to have a knack for doing just about anything I really want to, and I tend to be good at it no matter what, however, to be exceptional at something takes time, practice and dedication. I am exceptional at cooking and listening and being myself. I think we could also put learning in here as well, as I do enjoy to learn new things.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm tall. And I'm smart. I'm not good at boasting and I think I'm fairly modest. I've also been told that my eye's stand out, but, who takes that kind of thing seriously... you know?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Wow, but I could fill this section out! Lets put it this way...

Books: Robert Jordan, David Eddings, LE Modesitt, Sarte, Jung, Descartes, Kant... I can go on and on...

Movies: 5th Element, Pirates of the Carribean, Last Samurai... you know what, lets just say I enjoy movies, I like what I like, and there's not much that I really don't like.

Music: again, just about everything. I have a very eclectic music collection. This is just one of those things you'd have to see/listen to to understand.

The six things I could never do without

Six things.. hmm.... I couldn't do without books, or music of some kind. I also don't think I could do without friendship. I couldn't live without my cooking knives anymore (you have no idea), and I couldn't live without my glasses. Thats only five, but there's not a whole lot more I can think of.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Belief systems and what makes people believe what they believe. I think a lot about the philosophies of subjective things like emotions, but also about such things as time and space relations, and first causes. Of course, I also think about cooking and recipes, and about how best to help those who are close to me.

On a typical Friday night I am

Depends, sometimes I work... if I'm not working, its usually either hanging out with a friend doing who knows what, or sitting at home reading a book, watching one of the learning channels on TV, or getting ready for bed.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Not going to admit anything here really. There's some interesting things that make me who I am, but they'll be said only when I'm ready to say them. Besides, it's sometimes more fun to have someone ask the question and be able to answer with an answer they didn't already know.

You should message me if

You think there may be a connection. Again, first causes; if you feel a connection message me. Whether it be just friends, dating, or if you have a question you think I can answer.
