Although a Baltimore girl at heart, I also came to love the DC area when I moved here several years ago for grad school. Since graduating 3 ½ years ago, I’ve had more time to take advantage of what both DC and Baltimore have to offer. My family and friends are very important to me, and most of my free time is spent with them in some way or another… I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such great people. If you haven’t already guessed it from the username, I’m a big Baltimore Ravens fan and on Sundays I can usually be spotted at a tailgate, watching the game, or hanging out on the Purple Patio.
Although I only have a few stamps on my passport so far, I can't wait for more in the future. I studied abroad in Australia for a semester during college which, to this day, is still one of my favorite life experiences – great people and so much to do, especially outdoors. While I’m always up for trying something new or exciting, I’m also a firm believer in that it’s not always what you’re doing, but who you’re with that matters. In part, I think that belief stems from growing up in a rural town where you can learn to appreciate the simple things as well.

It’s great to have a career where I am able to help people and feel that I’m making a difference in their lives. I practice as a physician assistant which keeps me very busy during the week. With the rest of my life… I’m just doing whatever makes me happy, and right now that’s enjoying time with friends.

Music: It’s an eclectic mix - there’s too much great music out there to get pinned to just one genre. It ranges from the Top 40 songs, to classic rock, country, and alternative. Michael Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker, Jack Johnson, Usher, Foo Fighters, Coldplay… the list would go on forever.

TV shows: Homeland, Modern Family, New Girl, So You Think You Can Dance, Game of Thrones, The Office, How I Met Your Mother

Movies: A few all time favorites - Shawshank Redemption, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, Old School, Remember the Titans, Love Actually, The Count of Monte Cristo, Taken, The Hangover, The Saint, Inception and…the Back to the Future trilogy (it never seems to get old)

Books: Anything by Dan Brown. I can never put his books down. Aaand I have to admit to the guilty pleasure of enjoying the teen phenomenons. I, too, fell for the Hunger Games.

Food: Sushi is definitely #1 with a close rivalry to Maryland crabs. While I try to eat pretty healthy, I’ll like almost anything you put in front of me. Guacamole and lasagna rank high on my list (although not together), and you can't go wrong with good old fashioned meat and potatoes. I’m my father’s daughter.

Depends on the Friday. Sometimes I like something low key with friends - staying in for dinner and a movie with a good bottle of wine. Otherwise, I'm out enjoying the nightlife.

You think we could hit it off. I’m a sucker for a witty sense of humor and a kind heart. In general, I'm just hoping to meet others who are friendly and easy to get along with, outgoing, hardworking and motivated, and fun to be around.
