My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"I worry. I hope. I wish." -- Atul Gawande

That pretty much sums up the thought process. I guess the action part is best defined by what I'm doing, as addressed below.

I hope I've lived long enough to know the difference between a sincere person and a poser. I'm tech-savvy, tolerant, and truly hope to live another hundred years, as long as I'm mobile and alert. And the creeks don't rise!

I'm attracted to independent women who like to enjoy life! I'm interested in meeting a lady with a big heart, an easy way and a firm will - a fellow searcher on the shore - a partner, willing and able to charm and be charmed - zing and be zinged. She can be my Ring Ding if I can be her Devil Dog.

I deeply appreciate being appreciated by a woman. I love reciprocal reciprocity - a volley of words like the songs of birds - ascending to the heights only to swoop precipitously down - the startled laughter its favored prey.

My life has been a large canvas with many brushstrokes of varied colors - some primary - some pastel - all made brighter by the shading of deep blue-greys like rainy days.
Let me tell you a story. Or two.
But never fear, I have a listening ear. Or two.

Spirituality is a very healthy trait, and I accept that there's a "greater than" force at play. Hopefully that acceptance is mutual. ;-)

Whimsy, creativity and intelligence are all important to me. I'm somewhat of a romantic. I do pay attention.
I grew up in NYC, went to school in Texas and have lived in Colorado almost twenty-five years. In short, I'm watching the river flow. I'd like to share that with someone nice.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I'm working on being a responsible adult. Still growing and dreaming while keeping an eye on the ball. As the years pass, I grow closer to the young idealist I started out as, even though there's been some estrangement. The narrative follows a winding arc, but I've always been an independent spirit. Sometimes reflection is the sincerest form of flattery. Old ideas become new again, like orphan socks at a family reunion. Wait! You're an Argyle? Me too!
I'm yearning for a vibrant bond with a woman who's willing and able. I read, write, observe, and reflect.
Sometimes I entertain.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Word-smithing. Finding the unexpected levity in quiet moments, on the downbeat Engaging with people. Listening....... asking questions - and listening. Love a good conversation! Oh, and tenderness! I'm a lover. Not a fighter. But I'm pretty spunky.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Other than the basic requirements to sustain life I can do without all "things". However, I would greatly enjoy the companionship of a smart, sassy woman with a sharp wit and a twinkle in her eye.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The quality of mercy.
Unlike Greek yogurt, it's not strained.
