Who am I? I'm pretty easy going. I have fun just about anywhere,
doing just about anything. Yes… I’m easily entertained. Give me a
couple magnets and a ball bearing and I’m happy for hours. I
appreciate the little things in life. I like being a little goofy
at times and I have a good, if sometimes odd, sense of humor. I'm
not a very fancy person; I can't tell the difference from one wine
to another, but I can probably tell one root beer from the next in
a blind taste test! I love to go on road trips, and my list of
"places to see" is barely begun. I'd say I'm pretty well rounded
for a small town guy from the boonies. I'm starting to go to the
gym to work off some of the extra soft-'n'-cuddly I've put on
around the middle. (Yep, any day now, I’ll be right there at the
gym…) I'm very close with my family, despite them being so far away
and I talk with my mom, dad, or both about once a week. I have to
admit I'm a bit of a dork. I watch nerdy TV shows and movies, read
nerdy books, laugh at nerdy jokes, and work a nerdy job. I stopped
trying to be one of the "cool kids" back in high school. (most of
them were jerks anyway). I pay very little attention to
"celebrities", and avoid "reality" TV. I love sports (particularly
Detroit football and baseball), so it'd be nice to find a girl who
at least has a passing enough interest in it to be able to share
watching a game with me from time to time (not critical, as long as
you don't mind losing me for a few hours on Sundays in the Fall,
I'll make it up to you the rest of the week :) ). Though I like to
go out and do fun stuff once in a while, I'm also very happy to
snuggle on the couch and watch TV. I have a wide range of musical
tastes (I like Led Zepplin, B.B. King, Gorillaz, Mozart, Miles
Davis, and Louis Armstrong about equally) so finding someone who is
interested in more than one type of music would be nice too. I want
someone who likes being happy. When I'm not reading, watching
movies/football/TV, playing golf or playing with the dog, I'm
playing computer games with my friends. And if that’s not enough; I
have a good career, a house, a car, and I like pets, kids, and old
people.
Who are you? A girl who's sweet, kind, good looking, smart, fun to be around and has a pretty good sense of humor. You're affectionate and don't mind being close or holding hands in public. You don’t feel the need to hide yourself behind layers of make-up. You’re as comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt as a nice dress (or even more so). You don’t necessarily need to be a nerd, or have dork-ish tendencies, but you should be dork-tolerant (If you can just smile and shake your head lovingly when I say things like “sweet! There’s a new Star Trek movie coming out!” then we’ll be fine). You must love dogs, because he's gonna love you! Oh, and if the best pictures you could find of yourself are of you at a party with beer in-hand, then we are probably not going to be compatible.
