My Self-Summary
Looking for a friend to travel the back roads and byways of
Southern Arizona. Enjoy photography, hiking and the study of the
Journal of Irreproducible Results. Enjoy working with pinhole
cameras and printing my own negatives. Any day spent on a mountain
is a good one. Petroglyphs are an added spice to a days outing.
Birds add a flash of color and mystery of what they are.
What I’m doing with my life
Still working in the Earth Sciences, Haven't found a reason to
retire yet. there is always another ridge to cross. I spend much
time as a care giver when not at work. My wife has MS and lives in
a wheel chair during the day. Try to get out to roam the hills for
a break now and then. Would like a friend to explore with as my
wife can no longer go off road.
I’m really good at
Computers, electronics, Home repairs, tinker with all sorts of
gadgets, keep wheelchairs running, Build living aids for the
disabled.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
enjoy all books by Tom Robbins, Read a lot of John Barth at one
time ,I am addicted to science fiction, LOTR,Heinlein, Fantasy, odd
tv shows, Dr. Who, Torchwood, Blue Grass, the Moody Blues, Pink
Floyd, John Mayer, Rick Wakeman, and good Mexican Food. Like to
cook all sorts of foods.
The six things I could never do without
Books, A camera, My Computer, Open Country, Mountains, and the
Ocean. Missing a cat to add to the mix. Dog now gone so time to
re-evaluate whats next
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Friends and Family and where every one is now, Social Injustice,
and why we don't love our neighbors. Have been working with cousins
on family genealogy.
On a typical Friday night I am
At Home reading a book, or off at the park on a walk. In Tucson,
time to hibernate during the hot part of the summer
