My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If I had to describe myself I would say I'm a bit of an introvert. I have no problem spending a rainy day inside playing video games, watching movies, or surfing the web. I do enjoy being social and meeting new people, but only so much at one time. I'm most comfortable in small group situations; large groups tend to stress me out for whatever reason
Music and humor are also important to me; although I have no musical talent and a somewhat offbeat sense of humor. I enjoy Archer, Russell Peters, and Bullet in the Face; so those sort of sum up my sense of humor.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently living in Columbus, in OSU student housing. My roommate is the student, but I'd like to return to school eventually for my MSW. I currently have my social work license and BSW and will soon begin a professional job at Netcare Access here in Columbus, Ohio. I'm excited to be starting this professional chapter in my life and look forward to being a young, relatively successful, professional.

In my spare time I enjoy music, video games, TV, and I've recently started running again. Not that I'm any good at it, but you have to start slow, right? I used to be healthier and more active and I'd love to make that a bigger part of my life as I get older.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
listening, but being rather bull-headed. I know this sounds contradictory, but I do feel that I empathize well; even if I stand by my personal feelings, beliefs, and opinions. I'm trying to add things like cooking, baking, running, and socializing to this list, but I'm working on it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physical traits aside, probably whatever it is I'm wearing. Aside from being short and brown, I can't imagine much of my appearance garners much initial interest. I would say I dress pretty typically and don't stand out in a crowd. Unless you notice something different; then by all means, let me know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Not much of a reader but I've read: Narnia, anything by Stephen King, Clive Cussler, comic books, manga, Sports Illustrated, anything video game/tech related. Not really much anymore, college killed reading for me. I would really love to read the books all these movies and TV shows are based on, but it just doesn't interest me anymore. Once again, I blame college.

Movies: 40-Year-Old Virgin, Snatch, most any superhero movie (Marvel or DC), Saw series, The Hills Have Eyes, Hannibal series, Starship Troopers, Blade trilogy, War, Lord of War, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween (Rob Zombie), Pan's Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, Star Wars, new Star Trek, and pretty much any martial-arts movie. I also like watching awful B-movies and drinking with friends/roommates, so there's that.

Shows: Archer, Mythbusters, Bullet in the Face, Family Guy, American Dad, The Cleveland Show, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Fight Quest, Shark Week; most anything I see on Netflix.

Music: Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, Stone Sour, Slipknot, Alex Goot, Your Favorite Martian (Youtube), Eminem, Demon Hunter, Skillet; pretty much anything except twangy country and about 4/5 of what I hear on the radio. I will admit that many songs are catchy, but that doesn't make them good; regardless of genre.

Food: Foreign dishes, chicken bacon ranch pizza, Five Guys, any buffet, steaks, seafood, yeast rolls, Cheddar Bay biscuits (Red Lobster), regional/local specialties. I will try vegetarian foods, but only if prodded (metaphorically, of course). I must say I enjoy my dead, cooked animals.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from physical requirements for life:

1) Friends/Family: we'r'e all social creatures, even if it's limited.
2) Different cultures: it's interesting to see how other people live and what they consider important.
3) Travel/Exploration: can be difficult to experience other cultures without travel.
4) Technology (to some extent): a necessary evil, but also one I enjoy.
5) Animals: they're social, cute, interesting, and sometimes, tasty.
6) Steady Income: another necessary evil, or benefit, whichever.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
whatever crosses my mind. This could be anything from: "I need to budget carefully in order to pay rent," to "today is a beautiful day," or even, "someone should really make restrooms more accessible around here, seriously,"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
deciding what to do that night. The closer a Friday night is to pay day the more likely I am to be out and about. If not, then I'm probably inside relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm scared of sharks, deep water, and the dark; or any combination of these things.

I have a body image issue; which has partially influenced my return to running.
