I see life as a glorious adventure full of joy, pain and growth. The people I share my life with, my tribe, enriches that journey and weaves a brilliant tapestry of intricate moments. I seek others who have a courageous heart and a warrior spirit.

In this most current chapter of my life I am a single mom, attempting to raise a conscious, loving, creative, enthusiastic young man who loves this world. I am also a High school history teacher who advocates passionately for public education.

I am very enthusiastic and highly passionate. Last year for my birthday I asked 10 of my closest friends to come up with one descriptive adjective to describe me....and the vast majority said "Excitable". So there you have it.

I adore books! Real books, with bindings, creased pages and tea stains. I read everything from Byron to comic books, Frank Herbert to Poe.
I love film but don't care much for T.V. In my top 5 would be "Dead Poet Society", "Fight Club" and "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"
As for food...well my love affair with food is deep, global and unending! Bring it on.
My musical pallet is very eclectic. Puccini to Adele, The Cure to Abstract Rude, YoYo Ma to Jo Dee Messina. Just no improvisational Jazz please.
