My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am happily married to my husband, TheRealDarmok. We enjoy an open marriage and identify as both swinger / polyamorous.
We have been swingers for years, but only recently have begun to identify as poly.
I am a Respiratory Therapist. I work the night-shift. I feel privileged to care for premature babies one night, and then have a 100+ year old the next. I have way too many funny and gross stories. My sense of humor is sometimes pretty inappropriate. I enjoy discussions about breathing and medical work, I also really enjoy learning physiology.

Most people meet me and think I'm shy, but that is not the case. I'm an introvert and tend to be pretty quiet, especially around more talkative people. In a group of new people I tend to get lost watching the conversation flow. I'm not afraid of "awkward" silence, but sometimes I do need a little prodding to get talking.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring polyamory. My background as a swinger makes for interesting conflicts for me between these two communities. In either case, my husband and I are very much a "no pressure" with any of our interactions.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Breathing and helping others breathe. I take pride in my career ... "When you can't breathe, nothing else matters"

I enjoy Yoga in its various forms (more breathing!). I've practiced martial arts in the past and would like to continue. I just haven't found the right studio and schedule yet.

I am a poly-crafter: I paint, draw, glue shit to other shit, crochet and sew as well. Lately my activity of choice is working on large & difficult puzzles. I just finished a very timey-whimey one!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hair. I have an asymmetrical cut and I like to keep bold colors in. It's currently green.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books... anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahnuik, Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman. I've read Alice in Wonderland and Brave New World countless times. Currently working through GOT slowly.

Movies... Some favorites include: The Fifth Element, Machete, Kick-Ass, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Tank Girl, Grandma's Boy, May, Labyrinth, Fight Club. Anything John Waters, Kubrick or Tarantino. I enjoy most of the classic Disney films, Nightmare Before Christmas in particular.

Shows... include Star Trek, Dexter, Doctor Who, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Adventure Time!, MLP:FIM, Once Upon a Time, Hemlock Grove, Lost Girl, Dead Like Me, Game of Thrones, True Blood.

Music... Amanda Palmer, Voltaire, The Cure, David Bowie, Electric Six, Nightwish, RHPS and Hedwig soundtracks, VNV Nation.

Food... Love sushi! I keep a pretty strict Ketogenic diet but have a soft spot for Ben & Jerry's. Bacon is a staple in my diet. I enjoy beer or wine, instead I prefer whiskey, scotch, or tequila.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My husband

...Ok 7 things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sexytimes. Breathing. How we are all just bigger versions of the microscopic patterns around us. Am I my own entity? or are my thoughts and actions the result of millions of bacteria living in my intestines telling me what to do...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My schedule usually means I work every other weekend, so "Friday" could mean any of the other days of the week. My weekends are sometimes spent happily crafting away; sometimes spent dressing up for a night out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To most people it would be that I am a swinger and polyamorous!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Swinger couples - Must be a real, established couple. We generally prefer married couples, but are willing to meet boyfriend/girlfriend if the chemistry is right. Bottom line is you have to be "in" the lifestyle. We generally would set up a no-strings drink or double dinner date.

Poly people of any gender- I'd like to meet as friends to start things off. The one caveat is there must be a friendly relationship with my husband. It's important for me that everybody is able to get along. My husband is not as polyamorous as I so potential romance will be mostly one-sided.

Single guys- Generally not interested beyond friendship. I definitely won't respond to cheesy messages or "swinging" proposals.

Single ladies - Again with the friendship! I'd like to have a friendship build into something more romantic if the "spark" is there.
