wasting time. I must have a black belt in time mismanagement because I have no idea where the time goes most days. I am so proficient at it, in fact, that I don’t even have enough time of my own to waste. But that’s where you come in! Should you find yourself with extra time that’s in need of wasting, I’m your man. Satisfaction guaranteed!!

I am, of course, referring to my own satisfaction here, though I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself too.

1) The Holy Trinity of Time Squandering:

• The Internet - I would surely die of boredom without it. It also feeds what some consider my sick desire to know the answer to everything. I cannot be satisfied with simply not knowing. If I don't know the answer, rest assured that I will look it up.

• Video Games - my preferred outlet for time mismanagement.

• Books - if video games are my preferred outlet, then books are my secret weapon--in the war against the responsible use of time.

2) Central Air. No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater... than central air.

3) Sleep. At the risk of sounding lazy, I love sleeping. LOVE it. But wait! There's more! Dreaming gets thrown in at no extra charge!!

4) Imagination. You know, for those times when the power goes out.

5) GPS. Holy crap, Dallas! Could you *make* your freeway system any more confusing?

6) My adoring fans. ... What? Hey, I could have adoring fans! I could! You don't know! You DON'T know. ... You know what? Fine. My friends and family then. Satisfied, killjoy?

How I wish I had more time... because there's no time! There's never any time! I don't have time to study, I'll never get into Stanford, I'll let everyone down--I'm so confused!! But everything will be okay. I just need one of these! I need them! I need them, Zack! I have to sing!! "I'm so excited!! I'm so excited!! I'm so... scared!!" *sob*

Okay, but seriously... recently, I've probably been thinking about how I wish I knew more people in Dallas. I'm getting there though.

usually at home getting caught up on shows I've missed or playing video games. I just learned of a group that gets together for boardgames not far from where I live though, so I'll be checking that out soon. If it works out, that may become my new Friday night activity. We'll see.

I have over 500 physical copies of video games. I've been jokingly called GameStop by friends before. Words hurt, people. Words hurt. :(
