I'm a laid back guy. I'm a business analyst. I play guitar and put out a record a few years back; Working on my second. I also write automation code and make GUI's. I love my job.
I play a little bit of Softball in the summer. I surf. I try to run 4-5 miles a day, five days a week. I'm into the beach and road trips everywhere near and far. A good ghost and coke or an awesome evening to grill outside makes me a pretty happy guy.
What I’m doing with my life
I don't think there's such a thing as a finish line in life, but I
AM looking for a good running partner (not a deal breaker if you
can't, but it would be nice).
I think it's OK to smile.
I know how to laugh at myself and the human condition. You can't
treat every moment like a "life or death" situation, you'll die too
many times trying to do that.
I’m really good at
back rubs, playing guitar, running, poker, listening, working hard
and finishing things I start
The first things people usually notice about me
I have long eye lashes, I have no idea why women seem to like this,
but it's what I came with LOL
I've also been told I look like a couple actors, you tell me...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like popcorn movies like Avengers or Drive, but I like indie
films and old stuff with Bogart or directed by Capra.
Love Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Wedding Band,
Sherlock BBC, Pawn Stars, Archer, X-Files, Numb3rs, Nats Baseball.
Redskins Football and KU Jayhawks Basketball.
I read a lot of Richard Branson and Richard Ford. As far as books,
I like biographies far more than fiction.
I like all kinds of music - BB King, Neon Trees, Silversun Pickups,
Foo Fighters, Silversun Pickups, Kelly Clarkson, Nine Inch Nails,
Johnny Cash, Black Keys, Daft Punk and Kanye...really nothing I
don't like or can't get into. I like a good mix.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how blessed I am to have the things and people around me that I do.
I think it's important when I'm having a day when the "fit" is
really hitting the "shan" to remember to put it all in perspective.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with my friends laughing, usually a bar with a band, karaoke or
a poker game with the boys. Clarendon, U Street and Reston are
usual haunts, but I wouldn't mind quiet dinner and movie nights or
a fun night at the drive-in in Stephensville.
You should message me if
If you wanna see where "hi" goes...
Seriously though, someone who's awesome that's looking to get into
something for the right reasons. I'm looking for a workout,
conversation, travel, movie, concert, road trip partner in
I'd prefer talking in person than on the internet, so if you want
to get a beer or a glass of wine and see if we hit if off, hit me
