My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I care about my friends and my family. I try to be kind whenever the chance occurs. I'm prone to having adventures. I'm looking for a relationship with someone who is smart and fun.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in the fourth year of a Ph.D. program in the biological sciences, so I stay pretty busy with research. I'm hoping to get into science policy, or maybe some kind of patent law. But I find time to have fun - I started a radio theater troupe that releases podcasts and you should take a listen at pocketradiotheater.org (How's your radio voice? Maybe you can help me!).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Storytelling. I used to work as a historical interpreter in New Mexico and I really came to love that kind of dramatic monologue. Also I really like writing scripts - radio dramas and one act plays in particular. I've had two of my plays put on by the U of R and a third one is premiering on March 19th as part of their one act play festival!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My winning smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love George Elliot, Marilynne Robinson, Kesey, Faulkner, and Fitzgerald best.

The Wire (especially the second season), Community, and True Detective.

Wes Anderson's probably my favorite director (although I didn't get The Life Aquatic). There was a time in my life when I tried to work through the IMDB's top 250 movies of all time, so I really have a thing for great foreign and old films.

If you like Father John Misty's latest album please message me so we can gush at each other.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Family
My Mandolin
The constant possibility of adventure
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
That time America went to the moon.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my biochem friends at Lux or The Old Toad or one of those haunts. They're good people and I can't see enough of them.

You're a smart, self confident woman who's looking for a fun and honest and whimsical man to date.
