What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Editing TV commercials (with a little designing/motion graphics) and occasionally a freelance digital artist whenever an interesting project pops up. I'm pretty active both physically and socially, though a balance of solo time is a necessity. I travel as much as possible; my passport is one of only two possessions that would destroy me to lose or ruin. I run marathons...err, to be honest, slowly jog marathons, but only if the route is interesting. I like random events and taking advantage of the educational outlets around the city--there's a lot to learn and try if you're up for it.

A few recent and notable experiences:
-Bone Thugs 'n Harmony at the Middle East ('90 throwback, who says no to that?)
-Transiberian Orchestra at the Garden
- Noam Chomsky lecture on a Weapons Free Zone in the Middle East
- Science of Sweets at the MIT Museum (with an open bar and secret basement tetris)
-Vogue Competition at the ICA

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I like to read, though I'm easily distracted. I'm in the middle of multiple books right now, most notably "The Brain that Changes Itself," "Music on the Brain," and "The Devil in the White City."

Movies - "Run Lola, Run" and "Amelie" are a couple favorites--beautiful movies that make you look at the world differently.

Music - Currently loving Kishi Bashi and Tom Waits. Always loving Johnny Cash and Queen.

Food - Ice cream no matter what time of day. I love a good street market mango--devour it straight off the pit and deal with the mess later. Cilantro makes me sad inside.

Why few people find my corny science jokes funny.
ex. Why did one tectonic plate break up with the other tectonic plate? There was too much friction!

Seriously. That's hilarious.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on what the options are! Resting up for a long run in the morning/a show/a lecture/dinner/drinks/movies/building a snow fort....
