My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a five foot ten inch tall, carbon-based, bipedal life form descended from an ape and can often times be spotted wandering L.A. eating and drinking something mighty tasty.

Goes from no frills street food (think tacos/banh mi) to high end bistros (bone morrow/Foie gras) at the drop of a hat. Loves to grill, cook and decode new ingredients and is very commonly found with a craft beer from a local microbrewery in hand.

I'm sarcastic, witty, a bit nerdy but mostly harmless.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Illuminating a TV show that you probably flipped the channel by. As well as providing notes and doing re-writes for various projects. I tend to write a lot.

Traveling on road trips, Urban exploring in dilapidated areas and trying to enjoy every sight, taste and wonder there is to explore.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Injecting humor into situations. Not in that "I want to be liked" sort of way but in the "Life is too goddamn funny not to laugh at it" fashion.

Let's be honest here, if you can't laugh at yourself or those little things in life, what can you laugh at?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Now I'm not saying I'm Clark Kent. What I am saying is that me and Clark Kent have never been in the same room together.

Vintage glasses and a natural couple of curling hair strands will constantly get me and Clark Kent confused.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Bukowski was such an asshole but he had good taste in bars. He was also into downtown L.A. long before it was ever gentrified. So bonus points to you, Hipster Bukowski.

I'm your typical Hunter S. Thompson, Chuck Palahniuk, Neil Gaiman and Bourdain reader.Which probably says as much as it should.

KCRW and the internet provide me most of my new music but I'm always happy to get more Radiohead and who can say no to classic rock and electronic music? Wow, that's a catch all on the music side of things. I love me some Jazz and Blues -- As much as a cop out it is to say, I do listen to a little bit of everything.

Food ranges pretty wide. I do like to discover new places to eat. Already covered the beer, but I am a fan of wines and can often come up with wine pairings. Lastly, Cheese is always a staple item I have handy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorus, and Sulfur.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I'm going to write in this text box. Oh the irony!

Mostly what strange experiment with alcohol I'll do next.

I've brewed beer, distilled liquor and often infuse it with flavors. Bacon bourbon, Pumpkin Pie Vodka, Cherry Rum, Jalapeno Vodka -- all a bit out there but they make great gifts and even better dinner party ice breakers.

Alcohol infused gummy bears have a way of being a well received gift and very potent.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about. Either Hiking somewhere, enjoying a pint at a pub or nerding it up watching whatever Fox will cancel in a few months... That last one isn't out and about, but then again who really has a "typical" Friday?

I do like to listen in on Science Fridays. Which goes to show you that I do enjoy me some ed-u-ma-cation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I often take more than one newspaper out of the bin. I'm a rebel that way. Watch out DO-NOT-REMOVE mattress tags, you're next!

I also spent a year making every recipe of Alton Brown's Good Eats show.
