My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Once upon a time, there was wonderful woman who resembled Dana from season 1 of The L Word in a particular way: her gaydar was broken. She was as sweet as the cookies her grandmother taught her to bake and met all of the lovely people in her life by doing the things she loved most, but because of the broken gaydar, she had few friends in the lesbian/bi community, which made dating for this naturally shy and reserved lady extremely difficult.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love my job, but I also love that I have plenty of free time. I'm absolutely passionate about the arts (I danced for 18 years), therefore I spend a great deal of time going to musicals, plays, dance performances, etc. To counteract all of that sitting, I love long walks or hikes, especially through foresty areas because I grew up in the desert and am still fascinated by lush trees. I've also been known to curl up with a good book or movie, and though I suck at it right now, I'm trying to learn how to cook actual meals instead of just desserts.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing while baking cookies. Remembering useless information. Matching pretty much any phrase from normal conversation with a song it's in (I only start singing the song if I'm super comfortable in the environment or a little tipsy). Being supportive of the people I care about.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My big smile and inability to sit completely still for very long
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite pictures of my family
My legs (if I couldn't dance, I'd lose my mind)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can make an impact on the world. What shows are coming up. Where I want to travel to next. What changes I can make in my habits to make my life even more fulfilling than it already is (and it's pretty darn awesome). How not to fall off of the equipment in my gym (I get a little too into my music, oops).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out at a play or musical, singing karaoke with friends, having a movie night, or relaxing at my favorite piano bar.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to re-enact the video to Shut up and Dance (seriously obsessed with that song!).

You want to sing show tunes with me.

You love the arts.

I sound like someone you'd have fun with.

You'd like to be around someone who believes chivalry isn't dead and would love to revive the lost art of letter writing.

Note: I live a healthy lifestyle and keep incredibly busy with my hobbies so if you don't have some of the same you're going to get frustrated with me.
