I am romantic, cynical, and unique.

My Self-Summary

I'm a retro kind of guy, I believe in holding open doors for ladies, and offering them my chair if they would be forced to stand otherwise. I love to read and have a crap pile of books, mostly sci-fi/fantasy, but covering a wide array of subjects. I have a tendency to make jokes that are not politically correct, and I'm generally unapologetic about it.
I am looking for a girl I can show my softer side to. My ideal match is smart and has a good sense of humor. She should enjoys spending time being romantic, but also be able to just hang out sometimes.
My religion is very important to me, as are my friends. I have very few close friends but the ones I do have I would do anything for...once I give my loyalty it is given for life.
I really want to have someone in my life that I can show love to in the traditional ways...flowers, candy, romantic home cooked meals...that kind of thing. I love to be able to hold another person in my arms and just be with them in the moment.
I spend a lot of my free time role playing with my friends, and that is one of the biggest ways I unwind from the stress of work and the real world. I'm always looking for new people to play with so even if your not into me as a potential boyfriend, maybe we can still game together.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working as a shift leader at Papa Gambino's, in Bangor. I hang out with my friends, and spend time with my family. I recently started a CNA course, and am looking forward to finishing it and moving in a new direction.

I’m really good at

Reading, I love to read books. I try to read at least three books a week, and more often then not I'm successful.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite book changes every couple of days today it's "Magic Street" by Orson Scott Card, who is one of my favorite authors.
My favorite movie is Zombie Land.
My favorite music is hard to pin down, I listen to all kinds of music, but if I had to choose I'd say The Cruxshadows, who are a fantastic techno group.
My favorite food would be a hearty home cooked meal, one of my favorites to make is au gratin potatoes with kielbasa.

The six things I could never do without

1. My books
2. My friends
3. The internet
4. My guns
5. My mommy
6. Schadenfreude

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I often wonder if I'll ever find a woman to love, all the good ones seem to be taken, and the ones that are left seem to view me as some kind of big brother, it depresses me.

On a typical Friday night I am

If I'm not working, I'm probably home curled up with a good book. About once a month there's a party at my place and I tend to drink a little more than is good for me, but I make it a point to never let it impat my responsibilities. On non-Friday nights I'm usually gaming with my friends, what can I say I'm lame like that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

That some times I wish the zombie apocalypse would really happen, because I feel confident in my ability to survive, and because I feel like I could save you, and you might fall in love with me. And that would be an awesome story to tell our grand children.

You should message me if

You think we could make it work, or if you think it would be fun to try.
