Back when I was in college I had three main groups of friends. My nerdy friends in my science classes, my party friends for the weekend, and my overall well-balanced friends who I lived with. I'd like to think I've ended up some combination of all three groups in terms of the type of person I've become. So in other words outgoing, laid back, and a little bit of a closet nerd.

I like to stay active and hit the gym at least a few times every week. I use to be in a few leagues, but now just stick to pick up games. Don't get the wrong idea about me though because I've also been known to be a lazy bum and most Sundays involve SVU marathons or napping in the park.

I just graduated from medical school and I'm about to start my surgical residency at a great program in Manhattan. I'm specializing in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck surgery, which I think is the longest title ever. I love what I do and could talk about it for days, so if you want to know more just ask.

I recently stopped working as a waiter at a cool brunch/dinner cafe in Williamsburg. It was definitely nice doing something completely different for once. The free booze and food didn't hurt either.

Napping... it's an art.

Books: some of the more recent ones are Perfume, Blindness, and Blink. I don't read for fun as much as I should though because I'm usually busy reading up on my next surgical case. I have however written a bunch of publications, so if you ever want to hear about the world of head and neck cancer you know where to go.

The #1 movie ever made is Gattaca.

I don't spend that much time watching TV but when I'm bored it's Boardwalk Empire, Californiacation, Bored to Death, The Newsroom, New Girl, East Bound and Down, Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, Mad Men, It's Always Sunny, Parks and Recreation, Girls, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, The League, The Office, House of Cards, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Music: M83, The Shoes, Deadboy and the Elephantmen, Macklemore, Breathe Carolina, and Miike Snow. I like most music but I tend to lean more towards indie.

If I had one last meal it would have to be lobster. I also have a big weakness for oysters though.

I type with two fingers, it's sad but I'm working on it. I've given myself 1 more month to fix this embarrassment.

I'm actually 5'9", but I'm often tempted to list myself at 5'10". But damn it I'm going to keep my internet integrity.

I like a girl who takes initiative.

Also someone who's smart, cute, happy, easy going and who's also passionate about what they're doing in life. Basically an independent girl who can hold her own. Oh, and if you have a dog that’s a huge bonus. Even more bonus points if it's a large dog.
