My self-summary
You can't live day to day without a laugh or even a smile. I love making people laugh and I love having good times with good people. I am a huge sports guy, but I also enjoy movies and most television (keyword being most!)

I'm not the biggest outdoors-y person in the world (I like to hike/camp/etc, but never really go on my own) but I love White Water Rafting. I try to go up to northern Maine 2 or 3 times a year for it.

I've been doing a lot of traveling over the past 7 years (see below for the specific reason) which has slowed down a bit. I am looking forward to picking that back up.

Like I mentioned, I love sports. Well, mostly Football and Baseball but I'll watch hockey, basketball and soccer. You'll see below that I enjoy travelling for baseball. It's a lot of fun driving to other parts of the country to watch games... see how other fans do it.

I am hilarious, active, and generous
What I’m doing with my life
I've relocated to the Boston area for a new job and I'm really enjoying it, but really not familiar with the area.

It'd seem pretty cool to catch a game in every stadium at some point in life, but I should really hit my favorite team's park first (US Cellular Field in Chicago) - Goal achieved! (Twice) Over the last few summers, my friends and I have taken a week or two and have taken a road trip to hit up a bunch of baseball games. We've hit Old Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Citi Field, Citizen's Bank Park, Camden Yards, Nationals Ballpark, Tropicana Field, Great American Ballpark, US Cellular Field, Wrigley Field, Miller Park, Comerica Park, Progressive Field, PNC Park, AT&T Park & Fenway makes it officially more then half of the ballparks out there!

I recently underwent ACL replacement surgery and am almost a year removed (January) and recovering nicely. My aim is to start jogging by the start of fall. (Note- Didn't start jogging. However, I did hike a little more then half of Mt Monadnock recently)
I’m really good at
Making people smile and laugh and talking about sports.

Having zero fear. I will never say no to a roller coaster and I love the water slides that goes (basically) vertical. Given the chance to ever sky drive or bungee jump, I'd probably be the first to go off and the last one to stop talking about how awesome it was.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor and my smile. I also think my eyes are blue but people call them green.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
With movies, I am more then willing to give anything a chance. With music, my tastes vary. The more I open myself up to music, the more I find myself new bands, songs I enjoy. My iPod is filled with all sorts of different stuff. Sometimes it's not the new stuff, it just takes me a bit longer the find the good oldies :). If I had to choose, my favorite bands would be Stone Temple Pilots, Guns N Roses and Faith No More. I've been listening to a bit more Punk as of late (Rancid, Bad Religion)

I usually read biography's of people who I am familiar with (sports figures, comedians, etc). If a publisher thinks that their story is entertaining enough to be read, I'll probably agree. I also finished King's Dark Tower series. Which I really enjoyed. I am current with A Song of Ice and Fire. Current in this case meaning I've finished a Dance of Dragons. Right now I'm big into non fiction baseball books. I re-read Moneyball and I have Ball Four that I need to finish.

I'm very open to food. I'd like to at least try some sort of cuisine from all corners of the planet. I'd like to learn how cook (better)(Right now, my definition of being able to cook is throwing spices and herbs on pork/fish and tossing it in the oven or chopping chicken and cooking it in a pan) or at least grow my repertoire. I'm also somewhat of a beer snob. Rather, I usually prefer the craft beers over the Budweisers and Millers, etc....

My favorite TV shows are everything on F/X. The League is probably my favorite, with everything else in second (It's Always Sunny, Louie, Wilfred) The non FX shows I like are Psych and Fringe. Being laid up recovering from knee surgery, I've grown real fond of Workaholics and Impractical Jokers.

Im also a huge fan of stand up comedy and my favorite comic is easily Louis CK.
The six things I could never do without
Baseball, Awesome Micro-brewed beer, gym, TV shows past and present (counts as one!), stand up comedy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm always thinking about how I can improve myself, both physically and mentally, since I have put a lot of time and effort going to the gym.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recently it's been out of the state. Or across the state. Somewhere
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
"Yeah well you never seen me once wash my testicles either but that doesn't mean I don't do it every Friday"
