My Self-Summary
I like to do interesting things with fun people. Interestingness is based upon what I feel like at the time and includes travelling, dancing, investigating, eating, cooking and a load of stuff I never quite seem to get around to such as levitating, making weebles fall over and world domination.
What I’m doing with my life
So, yes, I've got high hopes for a future that doesn't involve England a great deal. wouldn't call it ambition as such, but I know I'll get there sooner rather than later. In the meantime I'm working (I do try to avoid talking about coding - it's a dull topic for the most part), doing DIY travelling and holidaying when I can and generally filling the gaps.
I’m really good at
I'm very good at building websites too, but like I said, I don't like to talk about it and I definitely don't like doing anything with them when I'm outside the office.
The first things people usually notice about me
Maybe I've just got a bad memory.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Film: Fifth Element, Primer, Back to the Future (and pretty much anything else with time-travel, The Big Sleep, Chinatown, The Blues Brothers, Oh Brother!...
Music: ott, NIN, The Killers, Flight of the Conchords, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, The National, Fischerspooner, Goldfrapp, Battles, Ulrich Schnauss, Solvent, Fisk Industries, Bach, Rachmaninov, The Beta band, Astrix, The Stranglers, Dire Straits... list goes on and on. Exclude: reggae, jazz, lounge, r&b
Essentially I'll listen to and watch most things. I like going to the cinema, especially for art-house films. Curzon Soho is great, and I love the boutique cinemas like upstairs at the PCC.
Food-wise, I'll eat everything (seriously - everything from steak to snake, dauphinouse to dog - put it on my plate and watch it disappear). Favourites are thai, italian, tapas, curry, steak...
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Ah yes. I have odd verbal ticks. Odd phrases that I tend to insert in to places you'd normally just say 'um' or 'er'. Think of them as endearing - they're not there for everyone!
You should message me if
You fancy going out for dinner/a film/a coffee but all your friends are busy.
You need someone to tell you if your bum looks big in that dress (no! of course it doesn't! it's lovely :)
You think I may have some potential as something more than just a casual fling and are interested in seeing if that spark is there.
