My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am moving to Dallas this summer with my girlfriend.

My girlfriend and I subtrahend were interested in meeting new couples or individuals who are interested in friends and friends with benefits. Personality is a must, but if you are interested send either of us a message.

Favorite song of the moment: DBUK Immaculately Warden Children

I love the arts and philosophy, but mainly i just like talking to people and enjoying other's company. I try to focus on being reasonable and level headed and I can certainly be a passive person, but am personally quite passionate. I'm not really into the bar scene but I will go out if it's a relaxed enough environment; I would prefer to be able to get to know someone on a more personal basis, which can be difficult at some bars.

I love playing guitar and am currently working on a solo singer-songwriter project in my leisure time. Music is a very cathartic experience for me and has been helpful in forming my emotional identity. I believe that life is meant to be felt, the good and the bad, and am contented as long as I can experience life as a whole. As far as philosophy, I am very existential but really I am more of an absurdist like Beckett or Camus.

Oh, I have three tattoos and am running out of space on my torso: just in case you find that sort of thing off putting.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated in the spring of '11 with a BA in English. Currently I am working as a programmer/coder. I am currently debating whether or not academia is feasible as a professional pursuit or should be relegated to a personal pursuit.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I kind of abide by the Renaissance philosophy to be at least functioning in every aspect of life.

Being understanding, I suppose. It is difficult enough to try and shape ones identity, reality, and ideals without the harsh degree of negativity we often impose on one another.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Guitar, Books, Music, Movies, My Dog, Friends/Family, I'd probably be fine as long as I'm around people; I don't need much and am not very materialistic, though somethings are nice to have.

"They say 'it's not necessary'. As if that should stop one doing it! It's not necessary to have colored socks, it's not necessary for this cushion to be here, but is anyone going to write in and say 'I was shocked to see that cushion there, it really wasn't necessary'? No, things not being necessary is what makes life interesting -the little extras in life." -Stephen Fry on the Joys of Swearing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Pretty much everything, my mind is always running, perhaps too much at times. Alas, I love to analyze and articulate; I find significant joy in all that's pithy.

I am really into ontological thought and metaphysics. I guess my main goal in life is to better understand the world as it is perceived by me and to attempt to bridge the consciousness gap that separates humans from each other. Though it is impossible to truly bridge the gap, it is the pursuit and the perceived lessening of the gap that I find particularly important. Samuel Beckett's ideas on the "Absurd" would be a good way of depicting how I feel and what the majority of my thoughts fall upon.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, going to the Little, nothing eccentric.

I'll go out occasionally, but to me it makes little difference what one is "doing" for the most part. I find that most activities are really just designed as a means to interact with other people, so that's what I value most. I guess I'll do anything as long as I can interact with others on a personal level. That doesn't mean i don't like to do things, I love playing games and ultimate Frisbee, I just find that getting to know someone supersedes the activity for me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

The first time I beat Dragon Age, I beat it in a sitting (roughly 48hrs)
I'm a total board game nerd. I love complex strategy games. If you've ever played Puerto Rico, Tigris and Euphrates, or Terra Mystica, you know what I mean.
I'm an open book, so really anything at all
