My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love being alive, playing with my dogs, watching stand-up comedy, throwing things into water, climbing trees, playing sports, watching sports, avoiding authority figures, making music, listening to music, seeing live music, being around my grandma, driving in the rain, learning about anything and everything at my disposal, sleeping in when I can, talking to myself, etc.

I grew up in Iowa, did my MFA at the University of Texas, and recently started my PhD in English at Mizzou. I'm a poet and a writer - I read a lot, write a lot, and talk a lot about reading and writing.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a PhD student in English at Mizzou. I teach and write.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making great jokes at bad times, laughing at said jokes, being honest, reading poems, playing a mediocre guitar, throwing glow in the dark balls for my dogs to chase, watching sports in my pajamas, making cinnamon roll pancakes, giving compliments, being generally nice, talking about things I love, throwing books, shooting threes, talking to old people, making big splashes in bodies of water, climbing mountains, smiling at strangers, playing with kids, spreading liberal propaganda, studying religion, taking naps in my hammock, talking about my feelings.
The first things people usually notice about me

Well I wasn't sure, but a fellow OKCer helped me out on this one:

"You look like Nathan Fillion and Jason Bateman had a sexy love child."
