My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love bad jokes, warm hugs, and jangly electric guitars. I find comfort in listening to my friends when they have a problem and being able to help. I am happiest when I am backpacking, making something new, or spending time with someone I love. I get nervous when I have to call a stranger on the phone, but I don't have a problem dancing like crazy in front of a crowd of people. I believe that music is organized sound, taken from a physical context and put on display. My philosophical and political outlook in life lies somewhere along the spectrum between Amy Poehler and George Carlin. I believe in kindness, the benefit of the doubt, and the five-second rule.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just moved back to Macon after spending the last two years in Athens getting my master's in math education. At the moment, however, I'm working on a new mash-up style DJ set and reconnecting with old buddies in town. The DJ stuff is almost finished so if you'd like to hear some of it, let me know!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making the perfect mix-tape for any occasion. Also, eating left-overs.
The first things people usually notice about me

Lately, I've been having a good time experimenting with sodium citrate cheese gels for super-melty grilled cheese sandwiches and cooking meat sous vide in my kitchen sink. I may only know just enough to be dangerous, but it sure has been fun and usually delicious!
