I am creative, tiny, and energetic.

My Self-Summary

I am small and energetic and I usually have a big smile on my face....but I am also contemplative, intelligent, artsy, and booky. I love to learn but I also love to play. I love to travel internationally and experience new cultures and foods. There is much more to me, but it's hard to put into words...

What I’m doing with my life

I live life from adventure to adventure. First college in NYC, then off to rural Japan for a few years. Then CA for a few more, and now I'm in RI for grad school in a brand new field. I'm currently a hardcore student, but I really don't know what I'll be doing in 5 years. I like it that way.

I’m really good at

Dancing, origami, smiling, jumping, learning, cooking odd foods, trying new things....

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm tiny and I speak my mind

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books are my tv. I read a lot of fiction, sometimes memoirs. Just finished reading a Murakami book called Kafka on the Shore. Very subtle and eerie, mmmm. Currently, I'm reading a kids mystery called the Mysterious Benedict Society. Preacher is my favorite comic.

I make an exception to the no tv thing for: BSG, Six Feet Under, and Weeds

Movies: I Married a Strange Person, Harold and Maude, Beautiful Girls, Laputa, Aliens, Chinatown

Music (in no particular order): NIN, Lucinda Williams, Tom Waits, Bon Iver, Queen, Bluegrass (various), Rancid, Swing (various), Chuck Berry, Otis Redding, Decemberists, Creedence, Nirvana, Gillian Welch, Iron & Wine, Johnny Cash, Radiohead, The Ramones, Violent Femmes

The six things I could never do without

I'm pretty adaptable. However, I would be sad living without:
books
avocados
berries
my mother
human connection
and
some sort of open water

I spend a lot of time thinking about

molecules

On a typical Friday night I am

typical? Life is atypical.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm neurotic about folding my shirts. If someone does my laundry for me, I must refold before putting them away. It's crazy....I know.

You should message me if
