My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm fascinated by the world and everything on it ... and beyond it! Limits of knowledge draw me in relentlessly. I blame my mom and her advise to check out the local library when I was a little kid. Ever since that, my head is full of questions that demand answers: what's going on in the 4th dimension? Since the light we see from many stars in the sky is millions of years old, we're seeing them as they were in the distant past- what's going on at those stars at this very moment? How exactly did the hunter-gatherers live in Ice-Age Europe? What kind of jokes did they tell each-other? What's the earliest known English word? What goes on inside a woman's brain sometimes? ;) Why is she saying one thing but meaning for me to do the opposite? What do all those Ben & Jerry's flavors we don't get over here taste like? I demand answers!

Apart from that, I don't live a day without listening to music, preferably music I've never heard before, though I have my classics. I'm passionate about collecting music and meticulously filing it on my harddrive and in iTunes- it's relaxing, try it!

Like I suggested, I used to be an avid reader - mostly scifi and fantasy (I read Game Of Thrones before it was cool) - though I have to say work prevents me from doing that so much anymore (I stare at a computer screen all day) I try to replace it with tv-shows and movies. And lots of documentaries. Yay, YouTube!

Also, I have a story-telling itch that needs to be scratched more often. When I was a kid, my teachers would be amused by my stories and drawings. I should make those teachers proud already!

Friends call me funny, intelligent if a little withdrawn into my own world sometimes. I guess they're right. My world has room to spare though.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My dayjob involves being a "senior technical advisor" for a large electronics firm with a particularly appealing piece of fruit as their name and logo. It's a service desk thing and I help people with hardware and software problems. Phones, tablets, computers, software, hardware, I am qualified to help with it all. It's challenging but rewarding.

Besides all that - since a corporate job isn't always the most self-fulfilling thing as you can imagine - I'm planning to take more time out to develop my creative genius. ;) Like I've said: writing, drawing, painting. I sense my real future is in there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
* making people laugh despite themselves
* computer-stuff
* music-stuff
* stuff. I mean: I actually at one point planned to build a Sherlock-style memory palace. I know a little about a lot of stuff. Only an expert at a few things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Shaven bald head - very blue eyes - cheeks with enormous dimples. Naturally muscular. I get approached by people offering me security jobs and nobody but old ladies sit down next to me in the bus. Bit of a babyface too, I think.

If you're at a party with me and we've never met, I think the first thing you'll notice are my cheesy jokes, followed by a deep soulful conversation immediately after that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Here, I am going to go with the incredibly boring "too much to list" answer, because it's true. Inevitably, we'll get to this once we start talking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- laughing, fun, humor, wit
- curiosity
- pizza
- friendship, feeling one with someone else
- music
- imaginations
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fantastical stories and movie screenplays play out in my head on my way to work or grocery shopping.

How to improve the less-than-perfect parts of my life.

I also spend a lot of time wondering if OKC is where I meet a certain special girl. It hasn't happened.. yet!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Haha- I am writing this profile on a Friday night......... Obviously, while this is fun, it's not a typical or ideal Friday night.

Ideally, I'd be out on some interesting excursion with a friend, or at a private party (I'm getting to old for nightclubs, my hangovers have become too spectacular for that)

In a relationship, Friday nights would be where I'd like to like to stay home and cozy, or go out and do something interesting like a concert or museum.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes, when nobody's watching, I jump down whole flights of stairs, no matter what kind of building I'm in.

Also, sometimes I read YouTube comments.

Ok, pause for a moment of self-reflection! Are you curious? Yes? But are there hesitations as well? Yes. But what's more important? One thing you can be sure of: if you don't say hello right now, we will never have met. Just do it.
