I'm a game designer. You can check out my game design blog, which includes links to some of my game projects. Like the board game I was just involved with, Velociraptor! Cannibalism! Which recently finished a successful Kickstarter.

I'm not the greatest at initiating conversations. Which is probably the reason this whole online dating thing hasn't worked out for me at all. My IRL relationships just sort of happen, I've never really had to pursue a girl before. I'm told I'm the master of the off-handed compliment. I say things that assume you know how awesome you are.

I'm working on a two year degree in game design. I have one semester left. I'm currently greatly enjoying my scriptwriting class.

Understanding what people mean, as opposed to what they say. That doesn't stop me from harassing my friends when they say something that should be complete and utter nonsense. Or especially when they say the opposite of what they mean. I am also a decent writer and poet. Have a sample:

If I could, I'd paint a portrait of your soul.
For the outline I'd use orange chalk,
for the inside I'd use coal.
And I'd detail all the tiny cracks
that once you'd shown to me.
And then I'd set the thing on fire
so that I could set you free.

I'm tall, dark, and mediocre. I mean handsome.

This question gets a lot of crap on this site. I mean, I know it's impossible for anyone to objectively know what other people notice first about them. But it is kind of telling to hear what people think others notice first about them. Do they go to physical traits, like I did? Or do they go to mannerisms or vocal qualities. I think this might be the most telling question on this profile. I'm sure you've learned ever so much about me just from this little rant.

If it didn't spend most of it's life underwater I'll probably eat it. I like to cook, mostly casseroles. Shepherd's Pie is awesome. I look at eating chicken as one small mammals way of getting revenge upon the descendants of the dinosaurs.

When I was fifteen I set fire to my parents bedroom. It's a long story, feel free to inquire about it.

If you think life is more than the sum of it's parts. If you believe the power of abstraction and analogy can raise your awareness above the level of the mundane into a place where humans can become Gods. If whenever you feel alone you look up at the stars and know that there is more to this existence than the petty squabbling of rich men over meaningless objects. Or, finally, if you believe art can teach us about the deepest depths of ourselves and the farthest reaches of our universe.
