At 28, I'd say I have a pretty good sense of "self." And I can sum myself up in two words:

I'm happy.

Seriously. I'm a happy guy. That smile you see in my picture is usually always on my face. Sure, I have my moments of snark and smartass-ness. But, on the whole, I'm an all-around good guy with a healthy perspective on life who almost never has a bad day.

I'm certainly trying to make the most of life - enjoying every minute of it.

For work, I'm a journalist. And that means I'm naturally curious about almost everything. I tend to ask a lot of questions. And I love to learn.

For fun, I'm always willling to try new things. Life should be full of new adventures... otherwise, it's not much of a life!

I'm really good at being organized. My motto: a place for everything, and everything in its place.

Other talents of note: I mix a mean glass of chocolate milk. (It's my favorite drink.) And... I'm an all-star maker-outer.

So, I guess whoever ends up with me gets a clean house with chocolate milk every morning and hot make out sessions every night.

Physically - my smile and the dimple in my chin. :-)

Beyond the physical, most people say they first notice my upbeat attitude.

Books:
I don't read too often for pleasure. And yes, I realize this doesn't make me very classy. So, then I guess it makes sense that when I actually DO read for fun, I tend to go low-brow with teen angst (Hunger Games), mindless thrillers (Grisham) and who-done-its (Christie).

Movies:
I love good movies... At the top of my list = The Talented Mr. Ripley, Sunset Blvd, The Ten Commandments, Gone with the Wind, Ferris Beuhler's Day Off.

Shows:
My DVR is always bursting at the seams, usually filled with: The Amazing Race, 60 Minutes, True Blood, Homeland, American Horror Story, Mad Men, Modern Family, Once Upon A Time, The Vampire Diaries, Project Runway.

Music:
Last summer I saw Maroon 5, Celine Dion, and Dolly Parton in concert. If I never see another concert again, I'll be okay. So, that should say something about my music taste. Judge me as you see fit.

Food:
hamburgers, milkshakes, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies. This isn't my every day menu... But it certainly would be if I didn't care about fitting into my jeans. I have the culinary palette of a 5 year-old.

the future -- career, family, love, etc.

I also spend a ton of time thinking about how blessed I've been, how fortunate I am, and how much I love living here in LA.

... relaxing with/without friends and with/without a bottle of wine.

I'm a simple guy - and Friday nights are usually spent unwinding from the week.

Hmm... I'll save the really private stuff for later. But, how about this?

I can't wink. When I try, I look like I'm having a seizure. But I've been practicing lately and I've made tremendous strides.
