I'm pretty sure I was a dog in my past life. I like to go for rides with the windows down. I like to play fetch with frisbees on the beach. I fall asleep easily if someone is petting me. And I'll probably sniff your butt when we meet! Just kidding...after the first few awkward hellos and a couple of slaps, I've settled for a handshake and a hug.
I'm not a "bro" but I do enjoy giving high fives drunkenly at Cubs games! Days off in the summer equal right field bleachers. Though I'm not opposed to catching a show or exploring the city.
I'm a beer geek, however, if its karaoke night at the Oasis I will be saving my dough and order buckets of PBR. I do love me some karaoke, what I lack in singing ability I make up for in spectacle!
And by if some grace of God I have a weekend night off, I'll go check out a show or a concert...I have a lot of talented friends and see a lot of shows for free.
My family is very important to me, especially my oldest niece. My sister was a single parent and we all pitched in to help raise my now very cool niece Morgan. I'd like to think I helped in the coolness factor. When I went away to college she found all my old punk tapes and CDs and fell just as madly in love with the Pixies, Ramones, Violent Femmes, Rancid, Bosstones, MXPX (and more) as I did at her age.
Being from the country I understand farmer's frustrations for not getting paid appropriately for their crops. Which makes me a firm supporter of cannabis legalization. It would be a profitable and easily rotatable crop for the fields of southern Illinois...and its what Willie would want!
