I love to ask questions and I am insatiably curious about the world around me. I am happiest when I listen,learn and keep my mind open. I'm independent but I also know that life in the island of your own mind is a pretty lonely place. Basically I am balanced. I am a combination of cynicism and optimism and as I grow older I find the optimism part becoming stronger.

Let's hang out and be friends. If more happens that's great but otherwise making friends is quite cool.

I am a pretty normal New Yorker. Determined,optimistic,kind, adventurous,cranky at times, apathetic at times and occasionally stressed. And I would not have it any other way. I like my life.

I am the director of technology at a local biotech firm. I like what I do because I help other people , namely cancer patients,get their test results faster. That might sound somewhat banal but that speed may make the difference between life and death. I also like what I do because it makes me mindful of all the good things I have in my life.

Making people laugh and telling stories. Also I am really good at laughing at the absurd ,a skill I have found useful in corporate America

It's that I can talk and tell some good stories :) For those who know me better I think they notice that I like to take chances and try new things all the time.

Reading is a great passion for me. I like history,non fiction as well as writers like Dostoevsky,Jane Austen (who is actually laugh out loud funny), Phillip Larkin, James Joyce ,Ralph Ellison ,Herman Melville, Henry James and Thomas Hardy.

Out. Even if I am exhausted from my workweek I get out of my apartment if only to see a movie. But being out with people or hanging out with friends is key
