My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends describe me as smart, ambitious and affectionate. I'm looking for a life time partner with whom I can create a nurturing and empowering relationship based on genuine admiration for each other as human beings and our shared aspirations. I want to be in awe of him, not for his outwardly beauty (although that certainly doesn't hurt!) but because he's amazing in living true to who he is. I know it's difficult to describe, but basically I want to look at him and go wow, he inspires me to be a better person! I believe life as a human being is a rare gift and a challenge from God to do the best we can to make the world a better place. For all I know, I could have easily been born a slug!! How blessed am I?!! On top of that I'm an American, living here with all these privileges that people else where would risk their lives to afford. In short, I'm looking for a man I'd be honored to call my husband and a partner for the rest of my life. On a lighter note, I'm an avid reader of New Yorker, The Economist, with occasional binges on girly magazines. I gravitate towards non fiction. I love classic Hollywood movies in the likes of Casa Blanca and Roman Holiday, with an equal measure of addiction to real life gritty stuff like Law and Order. I can be a bit of a gym rat too, occasionally logging in 5+ miles at a time. Lately I've started barefoot-running - with Vibram Five Fingers. A follow-up report coming soon!!

So To Recap, what is The Man of My Dreams like? It's simple, yet complicated. He's a man of integrity who has the courage to do the right thing even when it's difficult, ambition and a heart of gold. He is confident without being arrogant. It's the kind of confidence that comes from a healthy self-concept, and genuinely liking himself. He is a positive person who's not afraid to acknowledge his mistakes and learn from them. Intelligence is big on my list. I respect people who can think for themselves and hold their own opinions and not just regurgitate what others say (although I know it's easier said than done). He believes he belongs in the world, not just in New York or wherever he is from. And hopefully he can see the same in me. He would be physically fit, active, most likely an avid runner who enjoys nature, and the company of canine friends. He might share my passion for classical, jazz and the blues, but even divergent interests would help us expand our respective horizons.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm focusing on building my career, becoming a better person who can give more to the world than I take from it, and last but not least finding a balance between career and life because I tend to get tunnel-visioned at times with work. Perhaps finding the right partner will help me with that.
